  1. Actually I like Juan Williams. He presents good opinions and seems to be willing to listen to the other side. Colmes, on the other hand, is a mindless liberal zombie [or pretends to be, on the advice of his agent] And what is that one side eyebrow being higher than the other supposed to convey? A sense of skepticism?
  2. I need to paraphrase here as I don't have a transcript, just memory of what I heard when I happened to see the last 5 minutes of the NBC nightly "news" Brian Williams and Ann Curry are on camera outdoors in Haiti [thank goodness for "tough reporters"] Williams-"And they were desperately poor to begin with" Curry-"Yes, and we know nothing of their lives before the disaster-just like New Orleans" Will they ever quit? I think even bent face Williams was embarrassed by that one-he rapidly went to "well that concludes our broadcast for tonight"
  3. This is an automated response] This subject matter is being currently being discussed or has already been discussed in a previous thread. Please consider using the "search" function before starting new topics. Thank you.
  4. Don't forget Bush had the levee's dynamited, so there was plenty of advance notice. What a screwball you are.
  5. Also, don't "axe" a lot of questions. deadbeat
  6. Same name but I don't think so. I am sure it was made in Clarence. I think they may have folded because of distribution problems. I never saw it anywhere but WNY. My brother is trying to get me to move back to WNY to create a specialty garlic farm, of all things. Maybe I could grow peppers on the side and make my own hot sauce? Talk about loving your job Also this would be in Cattaraugus County grape country
  7. I haven't heard scab in years.
  8. I did not know he passed. Shame, sounds like he was a nice guy. R.I.P.
  9. You wouldn't need Sunday ticket. The Bills would be on National TV more than the twice a year they are now.
  10. This is a little shocking. Will old uncle Teddy being gone mean a sea change in Mass. similar to Spain after the death of Francisco Franco? Will they actually have a say in their Representative? Coakley seems to think not.
  11. I think it's been 10 years since I last saw it. Shame, it was the best habanero sauce I ever found.
  12. So much of the news is filled with whiny, spoiled celebrity's it is nice to know there are people like this
  13. I used to buy a hot sauce made in Clarance called "Armageddon". Hotter than Franks but still tasty and not so vinegary.I would always pick up a few bottles at Wegman's to take home when I was in WNY visiting. I don't think it was ever distributed anywhere but locally. I looked high and low last time I was there last time and couldn't find any. I think it is discontinued
  14. Sorry, my mistake for being so sensitive. I thought you where Harry Reid
  15. Whats with the southern dialect? I live in Alaska. Am I missing something?
  16. I have enough firepower to insure that I will never be bitten by the Zombies, so I don't care.
  17. When are people here going to realize The Bills being sad sacks has nothing to do with the Pats? We only play them twice, right? So if the NFL pulls the lid off the vast conspiracy and lets them use tanks and flamethrowers, would we not still be capable of 14-2?
  18. Notice you see zero twisted rebar in the destroyed Haiti buildings.
  19. To switch to plastic?
  20. Well I didn't live here at the time but I know a lot of people who did and have heard some interesting story's.What is really incredible is that it went on for 5 minutes Worst I ever felt was a 7.6 and and as luck would have it I was in a liquor store with glass bottles on shelves from floor to ceiling. What where the odds? I never go to liquor stores
  21. Be nice here. It's encouraging Palin wasn't worked into the post. The therapy may be having some effect.
  22. Do you think at all before you post? The Haitian earthquake was a 7.0; Anchorage was a 9.2. Since obviously you don't understand the difference, here- Virtually all the damaged parts of Anchorage where a direct result of being built on glacial silt, which has the consistency of flour, not the buildings themselves. Structures on better soil just a few yards away from destroyed ones where spared. In fact if you look at the picture you linked to, look down the street and notice the multi story buiding on the left on the far end of the street. That's the McKay building and is still there today.
  23. I'm surprised no Tweety votes. Conner must not have voted yet.
  24. Like the story of the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf. Straw just dosn't cut it
  25. I figured as much, and wouldn't have ordinarily bothered to point it out, but coming from a grad student in English it was just to juicy not to pick on
