  1. Self preservation comes to mind. What in God's name are your professor's teaching you?
  2. I suspect if DC had that role the series would have all the charm of a industrial safety movie.
  3. Anyone can make a mistake. I notice he didn't baste, either. And no vegetables?
  4. Pensions for prisoner's No wonder NY is bankrupt. I find the size of these pension's astounding.
  5. Some how a "wine rebellion" doesn't have the same effect as a "whiskey rebellion". Rather than taking up arms, would they not send the bottle back, act snotty and tip poorly?
  6. Approaching it from a point of view that WW ll was a 'raciest" war put him at a handicap.
  7. Excellent. A modern day Whiskey Rebellion. I am printing up bumper stickers as we speak.
  8. This thread is like some bizarre quantum alternative universe. OC=EII. Reagan=Jordan.
  9. To late. Next will be a in depth analysis of Douglas MacArthur's pipe tobacco.
  10. The imporant thing is I passed. On a bell curve, anyway
  11. I doubt if the Reagan remark was random. It's a old trick to get people in a position to defend a statement they never made in the first place. Stirring the pot here requires no more imagination then saying the sky is blue. Nice to know he is studying our responses. I didn't know I was participating in a social experiment, but apparently we passed.
  12. Frankly, if they gave me a case of beer and a carton of cigarettes I wouldn't have gave a crap. Safety first.
  13. Hard to to argue with with 250,000 replies. I was more so wondering what the OP was getting at. To quote Steve Martin"when you tell a story have a point. It makes it so much more interesting to the listener"
  14. Please spare the swollen head. 90% went off on on a unrelated NBA tangent.
  15. ? Is this a common reason to miss tour dates?
  16. From the column- Again, no names. Who said this? What was the context? Who "staked it out"? Wow talk about hearsay -"I read a piece from someone who heard something" No wonder he was pleased to see it go to the NBA.
  17. Again, who made this absolute statement on Reagan? Who is he so brilliantly arguing with? I believe post #1 started with"I read somewhere"
  18. We could room up on 20A.
  19. What is the connection to Reagan/ fall of communism?
  20. The 'line in question' was obviously a clumsy attempt to get Reagan supporter's to defend a statement he heard in a bar. Sorry, no bites.
  21. Point? I assume this is bait. What is the expected response you are fishing for? Just stay drunk and worry about sports.
