  1. Needling Nancys? My God that sounds like some thing my mother would say. But seriously, selling a house after you have lived there two years has zero tax implications. Certainly at a loss.
  2. Some details might help.[Like what is the question].
  3. I absolutely will not eat raw fish. I catch halibut, fillet them put them in a cooler for the 3 hour drive home. By that time the bottem of the cooler is filled with tiny, live wiggling red worms. I am going to eat those raw? No.
  4. Sure, I will even just send fillets. The head and guts are bait in my shrimp pots. There is nothing like throwing a catch of live shrimp in a pot of boiling sea water. Unbelievably tasty, they need nothing-no sauce, butter, nothing.
  5. One time I was wishing I didn't have to work anymore. Got fired the next day.
  6. Surprised at the bad rep of Brussel sprouts. I cut them in half, steam for 8 minutes, lot's of butter, salt, pepper and grated Parmesan. Delicious. In addition to the clams I mentioned, I also am not a big fan of salmon. A real shame since in the summer I can effortlessly harvest the wild fresh variety of both.
  7. I take it that means you do. I smoke like a chimney, always have and probably always will. But when I grew up Fred Flinstone was pushing Winston's,the desk on the nightly news always had a ashtray, so no wonder I started. No health problems but I bet that little habit has cost me $100,000 over the years.
  8. Now, I like spicy food, go through jalapeños and garlic by the ton, but I will not eat the following- Green peppers-taste like gasoline mushrooms-slimy snot balls. olives- tasteless nothing Clams- see mushrooms. Am I picky? Are those not things you are supposed to like?
  9. I was watching FOX news and they mentioned Easter many times. Switched over to MSNBC,not a word. Just a observation.
  10. Ahh I need to get back to Buffalo. I had forgotten about Brador. A real man's beer
  11. I always get a charge out of pompous, power and money hungry politicians that say they are "serving" their country. Like they are laying in a foxhole dodging bullets.
  12. OOP'S mod please move. jw moment.
  13. Who would it be? Me, Clint Eastwood in his spaghetti western day's. Just Cool. No Darth Vader post's.
  14. The Nova went for $137,000. Surprisingly[to me], they sold a 1964 GTO today for $27,000- second owner, 389 tri power, 4 speed, full documentation. Even with out the $110,000 price difference, I would rather have the triple deuce goat.
  15. They just sold a 1967 Austin Healey for $100,000. Unbelievable. I thought the economy was bad?
  16. Pellet gun?
  17. Sorry, I shortened that. It's the "Bull moose" party in full. Some how the"Bull squirrel" party doesn't bring up images of a charge up San Juan hill
  18. No moose party? We could use T.R. now.
  19. I never asked what you thought of it. What "things changed" that made our"good president" switch his stance? Like maybe poll numbers and a upcoming election?
  20. So anything that benefits "wingnut" states is bad in your opinion? You never cease to amaze.
  21. What changed regarding off shore drilling from one year ago. Confine yourself to the question.
  22. Now I am a not a bleeding heart liberal, but no one in this country should be living like this. Why not rob a bank and get 3 squares and a cot? Don't sleep in a Dumpster.
  23. Looks like that legal reefer is taking it's toll already.
