  2. Who cares? Exxon was ordered to pay $5B in punitive damages shortly after the Valdez spill in 1989. They have yet to pay.

  15. Sure if you want to call local government money"community money"go ahead. It no doubt was raised by voluntary contributions, not mandatory tax's on people who could care less about your wild scheme. And yes if there are are matching federal funds, it is "my" money.

  20. Inflation? For $10,000 he is going to take a property that has been abandoned for years and make it livable? I am not a finance guy but I know the on the ground realties of such a piece of property. Broken water pipes, because the gas bill was not paid. Drywall repairs, because the plumbers Had to rip it up to get at the pipes. Non functional furnace/hot water heater. Kicked in doors. Broken windows. Flooded basement. No one pays the electric bill. the sump pump stops working. I could go on and on, but I think inflation is the lest of his problems.

  22. Don't feel picked on. He offered to"shred me" over a remark I made that I thought was completely innocent. Guys got a big time chip on his shoulder.
