    True point- animals that are shot unawares though the heart just seem to lie down and go to sleep. The ones that run with no heart have been "nicked" and are aware that their lives are in danger.

    Why is it when I express my disdain for our"commander in chief I always[in some circles] get the "well your just a racist " look, But when I express my admiration for Clarence Thomas I am also a racist because I support a "uncle Tom" What I am getting at is are black conservatives considered traitors to their race? Do the the Dem's have that strong a hold on them?

    Confused. I thought that was my point. You are the one who advocates breaking the law, and becomes upset when it is enforced. Yes it is the law. Deal with it or work to change it and working to change it is not by freaking out and attempting to cause a riot when given a jaywalking ticket.

    So you take a "no harm, no foul" approach to the legal system? Nobody got hurt so who cares? Have you ever thought for a minute that the laws are in place for public safety? Oh I suppose if someone was driving up and down your street at 100MPH you would object to to him getting a ticket because it's a revenue scam. Wait till he kills someone, then we can act.

    I seen many a animal run 200-300 yards with its heart shot out completely. Only a brain/spine shot puts them down instantly. So regards the topic at hand, yes there probably is a moment or two of life after the shots.

    One time driving across the endless flat farmland of Manitoba, looking for a place to pull over and sleep[anything, just a side road would have been fine] I actually heard a voice in my head say"just go to sleep,when you wake up you will be there". Scary part is I believed it. Thank God I found a gas station to pull over and sleep in their lot.

    Not good at any time. We had a woman on a bike path killed here once when a driver fell asleep. Went off the road, the woman never had a chance. Just pull over and take a nap.Is that so hard?
