  1. More of a Norman Rockwell type myself.
  2. Must have a hell of a arm to "throw" a 12x12 paving stone. I suspect "heaving" would be more accurate. Regardless, I think Manslaughter would be the proper charge here, unless someone can prove he meant to kill her, rather then just damage the car
  3. Actually my unheated basement is probably perfect for aging cheese. 40 or so year round. But I need to find what I am looking for till I go that route. I can't find a decent swiss, much less calf rennet
  4. Going to a great deal of effort to get people to open disguised Peter Pan links on PPP may get you banned there.
  5. I love cheese but find the selection available in local stores unacceptable. [i had no idea the French made cheese till I visited WNY in 2003 and went to Wegman's] I have decided to spurge and order some raw milk X sharp Cheddar and real provolone. Any other ideas?
  6. I admit a EII comparison is kind of a eye gouging tactic. But he has been going off lately with all sorts of bizarre, uninformed opinion's[can he have any other kind?] that Alaska lives of the federal teat, so I am touchy about it. What news?
  7. 100% incorrect. The vast amount of fed. money went to rural ares with but a handful of voters. Ted could have ignored them and won off Anchorage alone. I thought better of you but you are starting to sound like EII.
  8. I dunno. My knowledge is to old. I do know those trails behind the quarry went far beyond the property in question[maybe to Pennsylvania?] and where used by snowmobilers.
  9. A better question for me would be if I like a burger on my mustard.
  10. Say what you will about Stevens legendary pork gathering ability's [and it was true-often even the recipients where shocked-they would ask for a simple 3000 foot gravel airport and get 30 miles of paved roads] but at lest he did the job he was elected to do-represent the people of the state who elected him. Unlike some recent politicians who just wanted to get this tiresome "senator" thing out of the way so they could run for president.
  11. Wonder what the cost overruns where like.
  12. You must be observant. It was there for all of 5 seconds before I deleted it. I was testing the link in a place I thought no one would see it.
  13. Looks to be confirmed. link
  14. Actually I kind of liked old uncle Ted, but that airport naming thing got under my skin a bit. I had never heard of a public facility named after a living politician before.
  15. link Wonder if BO will go to his funeral like he did Kennedy's. I seriously doubt it.
  16. The Alpine recreation area I remember predates the net. It may have gone out of business before there was such a thing as a web page. I do have a very vague memory of driving by there in the late 70s? and the alpine signs were gone but the gate was still up, which it never had pre Alpine. There was a group of people sitting by a fire towards the back of the quarry so I walked over to ask what the story was. They said their boss owned a candy factory and had bought the property for the private use of his employees. again, this was 30 years ago.
  17. Right I remember when they bought Air Force two-in fact I Helped her put jet fuel in it at the pre-pay pump. Are you really that naive?
  18. That's it!! Last time I was I there I was skipping school at West Seneca West.
  19. That was the place by the [demolished] Seneca Mall. What was it's name? It was on Potter road and Ridge? Seneca and Potter? But throwing peanut shells on the floor was it's claim to fame.
  20. Scary part is I believe you are right. We are being forced to live with a first term "lame duck" president. Consequences be damned, I am going to have some fun.
  21. He can't. That would put him at a "competitive disadvantage"
  22. WSJ article- Do you see much beyond the end of your nose? Buffet has been using every trick in the book to avoid tax's for decades. But sure as soon as the rates are raised he will pony up and pay his share. But of course that would put him at a "competitive disadvantage" so back to the loopholes. Do you think about the real meaning of what people say, or even think at all?
  23. Maybe if old Warren would just pay what he owes there would be no need to raise the [inapplicable to him] rates. Do as I say. not as I do
  24. Apparently it is now a factory I looked at twinco on Google earth and am positive it was the old Alpine recreation area.
