    Said this before, will say it again. What was unique about what the Pats did? Why is it since I started watching football in the 70's HC's and coordinators ALWAYS held a play book to their mouth's when calling play's? Is it possible non Pat teams have been doing this for decades and just never got caught?

    All this talk about Smerlas makes me wonder how the Bills SB's would have turned out if Knox had been retained as HC. Be interesting to see what he could have done with all that talent/

    I have no idea if this still works but in the 70s-80s [last time I went to Rich stadium.as I still think of it] I would hang out by the gate and wait for the PA announcement "here's the kick off". Scalpers would be basically giving away tickets at that point.

    Jennings did not "touch" the ball first. He grabbed it out off the air, secured it to his chest, feet hit the ground then the Seattle player at best got his palms on it as Jennings fell. Don't take my word on it. This is a major stink. BADLY blown call decides game at last second.

    I will be honest with you I have no idea what a D1 referee is, but I assume collage. And he turned down $100,000 to go to the NFL? Are the regular NFL ref's busting heads on the picket line?
