  1. Yes and it's been so long those of us who remember are dwindling. Like WW2 vets.
  2. Yeah they where good that year. I believe that was the year they beat the Miami jinx and everyone was pretty high on their prospects. Speaking of Knox, I will always wonder how the SB years would have gone if they retained him to work with all that talent. Ground Chuck or not, I believe he was a better HC than Marv.
  3. "Hey that bag just stung me!" "Yes sir that's why we recommend these turtle shell tongs."
  4. I dunno who started but I know who finshed. Man was I glad when that game was over. It was supposed to be easy!
  5. Can anyone give me a legitimate [as in someone who KNOWS, not guessing] source that Mario has a wrist injury? This is reminding me of the sure it's a big secret their not going to tell you, But I KNOW, I just KNOW, fitz has a busted rib and will be in HOF form next year posts..
  6. Anyone remember the last game of 1980? Bills in SF needing the win to win AFC East, SF going nowhere. Piece of cake, right? Nope SF kept it a one score game. Last 3 plays of the game were Montana, inside the 20, throwing darts in the end zone. My fingernails have never recovered.
  7. I personally know a poster who is more then 3 but less than 5
  8. You haven't caught Simples eye yet.
  9. What kind of slobs live in SF? They double bag here and I have never seen one on the street.
  10. Actually I watched that again and the ramper was at fault. He was well to the right of the centerline and still directed the plane even further right.
  11. Here's a Italian fellow that got banned. To many Fitz threads. http://home.comcast.net/~lowe9101/mussolini/d7.htm
  12. Never saw a belly beacon like that. The pilot looks like he could us some help with his taxi skills.
  13. Love it at the 2:49 mark the courtesy Ford dragging a gas can on the track. Notice the sponsors on the cars. Joe's garage, Smith Chevrolet ,etc. Not the UPS, Lowe's, Budweiser stuff you see today. Racing was far more real in those day's. Not the pretty boys you see today that can't change a tire but look good on TV.
  14. As long as his wrist is good enough to open the fridge and adjust the stereo. Poor Ftiz can't help with that broken rib.
  15. Some freight haulers in Anchorage still use piston DC-3s. I have always wondered what it must cost to maintain those big old 9 cly radials. They sure sound cool though.
  16. I heard a good line on Theisman years ago. "If you're trying to pick a football game, best bet is to flip a coin. Odds are good the coin has never heard a word Joe Theisman said."
  17. I found posting this irresistible
  18. And Fitz has a boo-boo on his rib.. Wait till next year!
