The plan better be a good one, there are actually a few good options that should be easy choices. I hope the plan does not consist of a first year D coordinator. They have enough of those.... I did not expect the Bills to say they have a plan, we will see how well thought out the plan is soon...

The thought comes from upgrading a 30th ranked punt return team with a quality player who does not cost anything... He is a very eager free agent and I happen to know he is looking to play again..

What did our quality punt returners average per return ? Let''s not blame the coach for lack of punt return yardage. Roscoe holds many records for punt returns in Buffalo. Get him back, it is a easy minor move that will help win. NOW.

He will come back to the Bills easy. He is worth the spot on the team just for Punt returns. He can have instant impact on the return game. I have heard enough about growing young players.... Add a playmaker to the team who can make a few big plays now and maybe win a extra game next year.

I think it may be a very strange off season. Some very unpopular moves coming, not to mention strange. Maybe this is why Whaley was so positive about his ex-steeler friends, so he can separate himself from this move from the fan base . Maybe the whole thing gets changed when new ownership takes over and this will be easy for them to do given what they have to change - new owner will look like a hero. Maybe they do know what they are doing at OBD.... .

Lovie Smith gives the Bill instant respect, no surprises. They are way over analyzing this......

Some close game loses, defense looks like it is getting much better. They just need some breaks to go their way. That said, I am done watching them for this year and will wait for the draft and offseason. At least we " win" in the offseason sometimes "on paper".

They will play just like the patriot game, minus the fourth quarter melt down. Everything looked Very good for 3 quarters. No big changes needed, just a little more defense and ball control when they are winning. Meltdown in the 4th quarter was a fluke, that will not happen again. Get revenge in New England in the next game. Bills will bounce back on Sunday!

Will this matter when the weather gets colder? I am not sure since the ball seems to get there and most of the guys catch it.
