No the best chance for the Bills to stay in Buffalo is Golisano not Jim Kelly.
-
We all know your history of JP worship, mook.
-
I don't believe Kelly is considering investing any of his own money. What Kelly is desperately attempting to do is position himself like Larry Quinn. He's trying to use his name in the hope that some potential owner will hand him a minority share. A smart business man will not do that just for Kelly's name. Even 1% of an NFL team is worth multi-millions.
-
Right, did anyone ever check how much of that money JIM takes in salary?
-
That guy has a big mouth and he WILL run it after he is shipped out of Buffalo. I'm 99.99% certain of that.
-
Not at all. I don't care about the circumstances, because there might be only 4 or 5 teams good enough to win with Losman at QB. And teams like that will have no part of him. Losman might find a situation that is marginally better than Buffalo, but he will not be picked up by one of the leagues better teams, which is what he would need to hang on.
-
Losman couldn't read the instructions on a can of soup.
-
He won't last 2 years after he's put on a bus out of Buffalo. Even as a backup.
-
Well you will to be proven 100% wrong. It is already very clear what Losman is saying between the lines, don't know how anyone could miss it. It WILL come out after he leaves Buffalo.
-
Losman cost this team 3 draft picks. But it won't be long now, soon we will finally be rid of him. And I'll be watching with great interest as he goes on to some other team and his career goes the way of Rob Johnson.

Well first it was criticisms about the play calling when he was in there and falling on his face. Then after he loses the job to Edwards he comes off with this snide garbage that "it's not Trents fault that things are the way they are". He tacks onto that, criticizing the previous OCs and endorsing the current OC, suggesting that Edwards has an opportunity that he didn't. With it he insinuates that he deserves to be in there but is a victim of circumstance and therefore doesn't hold any negative feeling towards Edwards. So he's going to be generous and suck it up and be a team player. What a line of self-promoting BS. I wonder if he thinks anyone but himself believes that crap? Yep, he is the better QB but will play along, isn't that terrific of him? All his talk about being a team player is just a vehicle to get out his message that he is on the bench by way of circumstance, not by his own failings. What he needs is a dose of reality to find out that Edwards is clearly the better QB. That is why I want him on the field. I'm fine with that, because I want to see him back up his big mouth.

What all bad franchises have in common

I agree and have made similar posts. I don't know where they got this Russ Brandon from or what his experience level is, but in listening to him he doesn't strike me as being all there. The recent track record for the draft and free agent signings is poor. That points to a lack of ability on the part of Modrak and Guy to identify talent. It's amazing that none of them have been fired. I'd fire all 3 of them. -
To be honest I do not like Losman. And I do not have a problem with him starting. I invite it. For me it's like this...Ok Losman you have a big mouth now back it up.

As lame as it is to quote Van Miller, here it goes... "woulda, coulda, shoulda"

What did say in the ad? Was it "yeah baby"?

People get way too carried away with athlete worship. Here are some points for a dose of reality on the ridiculous notion of Kelly as an NFL owner: 1. Kelly is a football jock with a ultra low Wonderlic test scores, not a business man. 2. He has no substantial track record of business acumen. 3. He couldn't successfully operate a bar in downtown Buffalo. 4. He stiffed the local suppliers of his failed bar. So he has a track record of stiffing middle class families dispite have the resources to make good on his debts. That will not bode well for his pitch for NFL ownership. 5. Logically you would need to be a billionaire to purchase an NFL team. 6. Instead Kelly is a millionaire. But his millions came from playing a kids game, not through any demonstration of business savvy 7. He is no more a success in terms of business than anyone off the street who buys a ticket and hits the lottery. 8. A Burger King employee can hit the lottery and instantly become a multi-millionaire. But that wouldn't compel anyone of sound mind to suddenly be asking that person for his financial or business expertise. And the same goes for Jim Kelly leading the way on the purchase of an NFL team, it's ridiculous.

So is the great JP Losman.

Why would I hestitate to tell it to'donte' ? Tell me. You think my opinion changes because you say ..."tell it to donte"? Guess again. Whitner is a bust as a 1st rounder. He'd be OK as a 4th rounder -
Oline = D Lynch = C 9 games into the season and the elephant Oline hasn't shown an ability to run block yet . It isn't going to happen.

He certainly is not the player the Bills should have taken in that spot. He's in his 3 year and I'm still having a hard time bringing to mind some big plays he has made for the Bills. Then again Jay Cutler is on a pace to throw 30 TDs. -
I'd prefer that the Bills never drafted Losman to begin with. And I want him on the first bus out of town.
-
He's not a decent backup, he's just the cheapest alternative they had.
