  1. +1. . . . I think all of us Thigpin realize this.
  2. Ok, but I'm willing to bet that even Payton Manning would look somewhat ordinary playing on that 08 KC team. . .
  3. Well I'll say it, I'd be downright excited. Thigpen quite possibly has tremendous upside. Let's bring him in and make the three of them fight it out (Trent, Brohm and Thigpen). If Trent wins that show down then next year would truly be make or break for him. If one of the other two lights it up then great. . . we found our QB of the future. At the very least, one of the three QBs should be good enough to be a back up QB. Most impotant, Thigpen in '10 means we can focus on using our #9 on an OT this year-- And worry about the franchise QB next year IF NEED BE.
  4. Tim- First off, thanks for doing this. We here at TBD really appreciate the time that you spend here chatting with us. Couple of quick questions. 1. I was always a big fan of Tyler Thigpen and hoped that Buf would have landed him last year, but it was not to be. Do you think there is any chance of the Bills going after him now that CG is our HC? 2. Have you heard any rumblings regarding Shobel's future with the team. If he parts ways and rides off into the sunset, do we go after Peppers (assuming our D switches to a 3-4)? 3. With an uncapped year coming up, any chance that Ralph splurges and goes all out in an attempt to get to the SB? Thanks again!
  5. So much for that I guess. Maybe he'll come around in a few weeks. If not, perhaps we can give him the key to TBD...
  6. Now that Dehaven has been re-hired (after being wrongly fired following the MCM), all we need is red endzones back and maybe- just maybe, the Bills curse will be lifted. Prolly wouldn't hurt to give Flutie the key to the city and remove OJs name from the wall to boot. . . .
  7. Saw a news clip of Doug standing behind Scott Brown at a rally. Not surprising to see one winner supporting another (soon to be) winner!
  8. Mcnabb would be a good 2 year fit for the bills if it were not for the fact that he's made out of paper mâché and popcicle sticks. He would actually be killed palying behind our o line.
  9. Even if there was an announcement on the 15th, I don't think it would be that the Bills decided to resign TO. That will be for the new HC to decide
  10. I appreciate your "Cleverity"
  11. I don't have insider. Curious to know if there are any updates, or if this is a rehash of what we already know. Sorry if this is already posted. . . .
  12. Agreed. Sounds like he's playing the cards close to his chest.
  13. That's why he seems a bit more credible- at least in my book
  14. Has it been determined how he got the "scoop" about the FO firings hours before the national media? It was kind of impressive
  15. I'd like to reiterate that we should not reiterate
  16. Well, if the new coach is a let down, I would suggest something to the tune of "So Far Away" by Dire Straits.
  17. Let's say we get Cowher and he tries to bring in Lebeau.... Lebeau was with the bills only one season (2003) which seems kinda odd. Do any of you know why he left. Hopefully ir wasn't under bad circumstance which might cause him to hesitate should we land Cowher. Fingers crossed, don't want to put the cart too far ahead of the horse, but how cool would Cowher and Lebeau be!
  18. Good for Jauron. At least his miserable performance with the Bills didn't keep him from getting another job. Not a bad guy, so I'm happy for him
  19. Add ARI to that list. Sure, they play like Jeckle and Hyde, but when it comes to the Playoffs, Warner is a gem.
  20. Any chance of this now that Dicky is gone? I think maybe, esp if fewell is the HC.
  21. That movies looks so dumb. I can't believe people will waste hard earned $ and 2.5 hrs to see that rubbish. Then again I waste each Sunday watching the Bills play amature hour football. Who am I to judge.
  22. Unless the Bills make it to the Holy Land (playoffs), then Jauron is gone and I feel Ralph hires someone to head football operations. Wether or not that person is any good remains to be seen.
  23. So we all know that Trent is probably not the QB of the future. Maybe he stays in Buffalo as a backup or maybe he leaves- whatever. . . . What would you think about trading for Brady Quinn with a 4th round pick. The upside is that you know what you would be getting- A QB that has potential but certainy one that needs work. Now, lets also assume that Ralph fires Jauron and hires somone like Gruden (who can develop a QB). Maybe then could it be a good idea to consider a trade like this? I have to think that Quinn, Gruden and an Oline that has played together for a season would certainly be better than the offensive offense that we have now. My fear is that we draft a QB who is either a 1st round bust or another 3rd disapointment like Edwards was. If we had smart people in our front office, then I would say draft a 1st rounder, but I don't think the Bills can risk spending millions on a bust. What do you think. . . .
  24. "our" not "are". Sorry, grammar Nazi here
