  1. Personally, I would LOATH to see Favre in the new Bills Uni. Nevermind the fact that he's a scumbag (because there are a lot of players in the NFL who are); nevermind the fact that he's past is prime and proved beyond doubt that he can't be a starter any longer in NFL; do you really think's he'll accept a Tutor/Backup role to Cam should we end up drafting him. Think about this. We enter the season with Fitz as our number one and Cam the number two man. Is it really worth holding a roster spot for Favre to effectively be a 3rd string QB/Locke room distraction? Chan has proven in the past that he can work wonders with below average QB's. Cam has immense physical gifts that Gailey should be able to work with. What then, can All-About-Me Favre teach Cam Newton? How not to be a team player? Cam already has a questionable past! No thank you. We don't need Favre.
  2. By no means am I a QB evaluating guru, but seriously- all this talk about Luck is really getting to me. I can see if he declared this year why people would be so hot to get him.... But he didn't. For all we know he could end up having a year like Locker did.
  3. I think you misunderestimate the powerhouse-to-be that is the Aaronator
  4. All you people, clamoring for Hawk just because he's a known name...... I got a name for you... A name the league won't soon forget. Aaron Maybin
  5. I have a friend who works for the Bills and she said that his name came up a few weeks back. Apparently the OBD anticipated this move by Gang Green.... They must see SOMETHING in him..... Is there a Wanny connection?
  6. Wasn't Leodis supposed to be a lock down corner, special teams ace bla bla bla. No thanks. Good teams build from their lines first. If our front 7 was better, we'd be the number 1 pass defense team...
  7. Is it possible that we could grab this guy in the 3rd, would that be smart? Sounds like he could really be a good QB, especially if we brought him along slowly. No sense rushing him as long as Fitzy plays well.
  8. So, have any of the folks at OBD ever mentioned him EVER?
  9. Number one, I don't like mock drafts. I think they are a waste of time and certainly all bets are off once that first trade down happens. However, in an effort to get my football fill, I've read a number of the mock drafts posted on TSW. It seems that with the consensus top QB's people either think they will be our savior, or the next Jamarcus Russell. I've also noticed that people who like the top guys think that our beloved team would be better served going with another need at the #3 pack. Having said all that, it seems that Ricky Stanzi is a guy who most people seem to think can be a good QB for us. The consensus seems to be (even among those of you who have preference for taking Cam, Gabbert, Kloper-blabla) that Stanzi is a very solid pick. So, since I really don't follow College Football, I'm hoping that you can answer my questions: 1. Is Ricky Stanzi the real deal? I've heard him compared to he who's name we won't speak. It rhymes with Dom Grady. 2. Has OBD ever mentioned this guy? Are we scheduled to meet with him during the Combine? 3. What are the chances that we go for this guy? 4. Is it just me, or does the name Ricky Stanzi have moxie?
  10. Man I hope not. Ralph needs to keep his mouth shut and his ass out of the war room!
  11. Keep Donte, sign Sanders for a reasonable amount (if possible). This way, we improve our depth and add a good playmaker in Sanders-- provided he's on the field
  12. Depth is good though, and Dante is versatile
  13. Looks like Dante is closely monitoring FA safeties from around the league, and has been reposting links on his twitter (that sounds X rated). http://twitter.com/DonteWhitner Other sources are reporting that there is some degree of interest by Buffalo in either Sanders or Atogwe. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/615561-bob-sanders-oj-atogwe-released-will-buffalo-bills-take-a-chance-on-either http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2011/2/21/2005466/bills-showing-interest-in-bob-sanders-o-j-atogwe I don't know if this is just posturing on the part of the Bills or not, but I have to say that I'm a little concerned. Dante isn't great, but he's solid. The thing about Sanders is that he just can't stay healthy. If we could get him for dirt cheap, then fine, but otherwise I'd keep Dante. We've already taken one risk with Merriman....
  14. My company manufactures flux capacitors...
  15. No. They will be the reincarnated NJ Generals
  16. Please excuse my uninformedness, the made-up words, stoopidity and spelling, but I just don't get this post. Someone explain. THX
  17. He resigned from the board, so I don't think he has any involvement in the Casino's any longer. They just bare his name.
  18. So, for the longest time, I truly though that Donald Trump might have been one of the people in Jim Kelly's possible ownership group. Kelly and Trump go way back, and The Donald is rumored to be a Bills fan. Yesterday, the news broke that Trump is now considering running for the POTUS! Of course none of us really know if it's just shameless self promotion or not. If he's serious and he really were to win the general election, chances are slim that he's be involved in any ownership venture should Ralph pass... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_M_nlb6DVA&feature=related
  19. TO the OP: What is this happy horse Shite! Team Newton? Are you friken kidding me! I don't have any problem with Newton as a player, but my God, your post's title is terrible. It's further proof that we live in a "Twilight" generation. What if we don't draft Newton? Will you go back to supporting Team Jacob, got a bunch of his posters in your room do ya??? Or maybe your aligned with Team Edward b/c Robert Pattinson has such nice hair.
  20. Doesn't work for me
  21. How can I watch the SB in a foreign country now that ATDHE / Channelsurf are gone?
  22. Well said. the ONLY thing the Ralph needs (besides a competitive team) is better bathrooms. Seriously, it shouldn't take me 25 minutes to piss. I wouldn't care if they lined up a bunch of porta-potties next to the bathrooms- quite frankly, it might add to the blue collar feel of the place. I hate the corporate, Sally-boy feeling that you get at some other teams' stadiums- but I digress. Face it, we tailgate hard and after a morning of drinking and eating, some of us might need to bleed the lizard a few times during the game. Until peeing on Pats/Jets/Fins fan is legal, we'll need a bathroom fix
  23. Thats what I'm hoping for too. Going into the draft, it's nice know with some degree of certainty which players can make the transition to the NFL. Most Coaches and GMs don't have a chance like this to see what players are really like. This can only be a good thing for the Bills!
  24. You better believe that teams interested in Cam will hear this....
