  1. Heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who, heard it from another that the lockout will be over this afternoon. Apparently all sides are in agreement and the announcement will be at 4:00 PM EST. Take it for what it's worth... which is the word of a guy you don't even know
  2. Correct. Plus the Jests already released him. As good as Jenkins was he didn't have much of an impact in his last two years considering the number of games he actually played. NY will still be pretty good-- even though they will lose some of their good FA's
  3. Why you make somewhat of a valid point, at the very least the Pats should have addressed their pass rush. What was the point of taking Mallet? Will he even see the field in the next 3 years? Face it, Bellicheat got cute
  4. He also gave the Pats* an A. I'm sorry, but their draft was a C at best.
  5. you're "cleverity" is beyond reproach, sir!
  6. Two, too, to, there, their, they're, see, sea, your, you're & yore
  7. FAIL. Let's revisit this draft in 2-3 years
  8. Agree- Maybe our sack/pressure ratio was good, but we could not open holes for our RB, nor were we able to run the ball late in the game in order to chew up clock-time. Our O line is better than many of the national talking heads would want to give us credit for, but we certainly are not great- Fitz's abilities definitely mask some of their weaknesses. I think if we stay healthy and see some improvement from our players we could be a C+/B- Oline. Right now I say we are a solid C
  9. Just one comment, Dante could also be Jar Jar Binks using your logic! What I want to know is who is Admiral Ackbar? "IT'S A TRAP!"
  10. I didn't want to come right out and say it, but that is whom immediately came to my mind (sadly). But this is also why in my previous post, I asked if players are working out together. It really wouldn't make much sense for Merriman to say this unless he's working out with his wreckin' crew and became overly frustrated that one of his team mates was not listening to the advice of senior players.
  11. I wonder what this is about, if it's directed at anyone and the overall context for his Tweet? Are the Bills players holding player-lead workouts? Is Merriman working out with any of his team mates? Did he witness one of his younger team mates displaying know-it-all behavior?
  12. In the battle for who sucks more, KC Joyner concludes that both Sanchize and Henne are about equal in terms of pure passing prowess (or lack there of). The link is posted in TG AFCE blog, but I don't have insider. Anyone with insider care to discuss some of the other interesting Joyner findings? http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/29283/data-shows-sanchez-no-better-than-henne
  13. Keep it here. The OP must have spent some time coming up with all of these remarks. Some of them were pretty funny...
  14. "I don’t need an organization to let me go to have more motivation than what I have inside already. Unfortunately, Buffalo didn’t believe in me, but Baltimore did.” - James Hardy Buffalo believed in you. The believed in your ability to run lazy routes. They also believed in your unwillingness to learn/listen
  15. An int is an int. Whether the other QB threw it right to his chest or he jumped 10 ft off the ground to intercept the ball, a stat is a stat. Guess what, Dirty Sanchiez should have had another 15 interceptions this past year, but all the D Backs whom he threw the ball too, dropped it... But they didn't! Where do you draw the line once you begin playing the what if and/or the woulda, shoulda, coulda game.
  16. I could see Chix rotating Jasper into the NT position. I recall a Gailey quote which basically said (paraphrased) "that if Jasper makes the team, he should expect to be rotated into a playing position- and that while his skills may be raw, his natural size and strength will mask some of those deficiencies, thereby allowing him the opportunity to hone his skills." With that being said, we are certainly better off starting Troupe in game one of the season. I have a feeling he'll be a pleasant surprise.
  17. I guess we reallyy can't complain about the Music City Miracle. Karma is funny like that; karma is going to be one big SOB to the Cheatriots some day I look forward to this.
  18. Too bad we scared TG off. I always enjoyed his comments/threads & comments- especially since he was a local guy.
  19. 20K posts, NICE
  20. He would be part owner
  21. I've been a big advocate of this theory for a while now. The Donald is supposedly a bills Fan. I've read in the past the he was quoted as saying that he roots for the only TRUE New York NFL team. Anyway, he and Jimbo do go back and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he was one of the financial backers involved in Kelly's consortium. Considering his background (and fondness for the Bills) I could see him being interested in a Casino/Staduim/convention center in the NY side of the falls. I would support this. However I think this would be a secondary motivation. Donald loves 2 things. Money and his ego. He would make money on the Bills, and his ego would be placated because he would be one of the few people in the world who own/part own an NFL team!
  22. Part of me would agree with this, but there is no honor in cheating. This would preclude Belicheat's involvement. The Tuna would be OK, but he seems to have lost the fire in his belly which made him great.
