Honestly, how heavy do we think Josh is now? I'd bet my house that he's no longer 237 (as listed) or 240 as you suggest. If you just look at his face, he's filled out quite a bit. I'm not saying he's fat, he's just fully an adult now and no longer a kid coming out of college. Coupled with a legit NFL strength and conditioning training program and maybe a bit of the delish blue-collar food Buffalo offers; I bet he's close to 250 - 255. A natural, world class athlete like Josh, with a large frame like he has. Could easily gain 20 - 25 lbs and if you saw him on a beach or something, it would be very hot to notice the weight gain. Whatever he's doing, it works. As long as he doesn't lose quickness, the weight likely affords him some protection. To answer your question, I said a cross between Elway and Favre, but this season, much less Favre. Cunningham / Elway is spot on I think- maybe with some of Kelly's on the field presence and leadership

I absolutely would NOT want BB to be our head coach. McDermott isn't perfect but we can do far worse than him (People said the same things that are being said about McDermott now, about Andy Reid during his time in Philly). Some people it just takes time and as long as we have Josh, we need to continue with McDermott. That said, I would absolutely love the idea of Belichek coming to Buffalo as an interim special teams coach. Smiley is garbage and should be fired. This would be an interesting move and a lesson in accountability. I wonder if BB would think such a move would be beneath him- a temporary job and a chance to add another SB to his resume? Special teams have been a nightmare for us this year and I think BB would be an improvement and add accountability to that part of the locker room.

The 5 picks are bad, but take away the hail Mary INT and the Lions were only -2 in turnovers... Not so bad. I think the biggest difference maker was the 4 sacks that the Lions got on Stroud for 40 yards. Each of those are most as bad as an INT. Very odd and entertaining game!

Bills 28 Dolphins 31 Allen plays Superman again, but the defense can't hold up it's part. Losing TJ is just too much to overcome, on the road on a short week! If this was a home game, we'd win. I still think we take the division though.

Shanahan was the single biggest reason why the 49ers just lost the SB. His play calling in the 3rd quarter was awful allowing the Chiefs to build momentum and get back into the game. He also should have deferred the ball in overtime. Shanny's performance in the SB this year was much worse then 13 seconds. It should be an NFL case study in how NOT to coach in big games.

Mine is much higher for the Chiefs- because they are the hurdle keeping us out of the SB. Yes the Patriots won a lot, but lets be honest- we weren't a good team and it's not like we could have won the SB any of the drought years.

Joe Marino made an interesting point which was that after DAL, he fell off a cliff across all metrics. Basically, Joe speculates that Cook who was never a high volume player, had basically worn out (which he also said could have contributed to his drops) late in the season. That makes sense to me and I think having a 320 touch season under his belt and with another off season conditioning program this year, cook can come back even better. I'm excited for him and what he can do for us next year.

I wondered the same thing. He's definitely not shorter in real life, so it just be a funny camera angle or something that we can't see going on. In the clip, Josh appears to be at least 2 inches shorter.
