  1. Hey, I heard that we're looking into signing some Mario Williams dude from the Texas team. Is he any good?
  2. Your are right, but he is not the Biggest problem. Certainly QB will have to be addressed in the next two drafts, but there are bigger holes in this team than QB (ie DEFENSE). If given a healthy line and decent WRs, I think we can have an above average offense with Fitz at the reigns
  3. QB is the least of our problems right now. With a healthy starting line up, Fitz plays pretty good. Our problem is the defense and lack of depth. However, if an amazing QB prospect fell to us in the draft (and based on the way we are playing- he wouldn't have to fall very far), then I say we draft him.
  4. I didn't get that one either.... also, the Patriots one.... is that supposed to be TB in Uggs? Fantastic!
  5. I love it when ESPN does this. Some of them are LOL funny. I remember a year or two ago when I first saw these, I busted out laughing in the middle of the office when I saw the one that they had for the Bills (The Blue Buffalo with a fork stuck in it). However, I don't get the one for the Texans....
  6. I don't think "everything else" needs to be address. Certainly LB, CB and WR (need a strong #2). Pick up good O-line depth (draft or FA) and maybe go after a QB if the RIGHT ONE is available- Certainly not a priority. We can win with Fitz if our D played better (just look at the CIN and NYG games).
  7. How could you possibly think the season is ANYTHING but over? We've played like absolute horse pucky for the past 2 weeks. And during that time, we've had more starters banged up. Do you really think we are going to beat Miami on the road? Or how about the Jets in two weeks in NYC? No way. We will be 5-5 in two weeks. Mark my words.
  8. Now we have to root for the Jets to remain in 2nd place.
  9. This season is over- The injuries are mounting up. We don't have the depth to compete and our defense was never really that improved. We'll finish 8-8
  10. And Wood is hurt. Eff this
  11. JONES IS TERRIBLE!
  12. Based on the way we played today, I wouldn't say it's "likely" that we beat any middle tier team on the road. The cowboys will be a tough team for us to beat. We might be looking at winning only 1 of the next 3 (Miami) and they actually have been playing pretty well.
  13. You could also add to that the "friendliness" of the Refs toward the Jets.
  14. I'm such a debbie downer. I'm so conditioned to expect defeat and disappointment. I felt pretty good about WAS, but this game against the Jets will be a tough game. I honestly think it's 50/50 right now. The Jets are a talented team and they have played better in recent weeks. Sanchez (and it kills me to say this) is playing a lot better and actually looks like a middle tier QB in his past few outings. You could argue they played a weak MIA team and a Norv Turner coached SD team, but a win is a win and you know that Rex will have them fired up coming off of the bye. The thing that scares me most about this game is how opportunistic (lucky) the Jets are. We all know that Fitzy will probably throw in INT or two and against a team like the Jets (who know us VERY well) that can be a back breaker as it will likely be a close game. Sanchez can be clutch, but je doesn't scare me nearly as much as Revis and Fitzy propensity to throw killer INT's do.
  15. I'd like for John Wingspread Howell to write a follow up piece. While I do Billeve we are pretty damn good, it's so hard to actually believe it with confidence because we've been bad for so long. But going back almost a full season we are 9-6 and played nearly beat some very good playoff teams (last year) and beat several likely play off teams (this year). I think we can make the playoffs this year, but to go deeper we need more depth. Hopefully, I'm wrong and Howell is right GO BILLS!
  16. Or, as far as this week is concerned, a screen pass to anyone and C Mac "block" Revis. Revis won't be able to get up after
  17. That too, is true. Glad we played them (and got the win) when we did.
  18. The Chiefs have really turned their season around. They look great tonight, although SD really hasn't looked all that good this year. Hard to believe we beat them 41-7 IN KANSAS CITY, based on how they are playing tonight. I think Norv's days are numbered!
  19. Merriman required required a lot of attention from the opposing team's offense. It's not fair to say he did nothing. There were also several holds which he drew that were not called. We would be better off if he was still playing, even if only in a backup/rotational capacity
  20. or rolled one too many papers...
  21. While I prefer to win by beating first stringers, a win is a win and I'll take one however we get it
  22. In the past, he's been cash money for me. I selected him as my QB 3 and 2 seasons ago and he was GREAT. Last year I went with Aaron Rogers who did good, but Rivers I believe had better FF stats. So this year I figured that Rogers could have SB hang over and that Rivers would get a boost with VJ's return. Boy was I wrong.
  23. 1. Yes, the Refs have been "friendly" toward the Jets 2. The Jets look like they are improving. I think they are at least as good as our Bills. This scares me. 3. Why is Norv Turner still HC of the Chargers? Undisciplined, lacking creativity.... 4. Rivers is my #1 fantasy QB. It's been a long season already.
  24. How good are the Jets? They really are taking it to SD- but then again, the teams that SD has beat haven't been very good. The Jets worry me. Looks like they might be starting to put it together which means we will be playing them at a bad time.
  25. I think you're forgetting Wang...
