True. But this is also the Jets. A garbage team, full of garbage players and coaches. Hearing anything regarding their suffering, should bring joy and elation.

I wouldn't say the Jets are a garbage team.  They played us tough week 1 of last year and Sam Darnold finished out the Season 5-2.  If we come out flat with little urgency, go dormant for a half or simply play sloppy with the football we can lose this game.

I most certainly believe we are a better team, but as a division opponent they will play us tough... and with a chip on their shoulders since our Bills have been the media darlings of 2020 in the AFCE.

I'm also so sick of hearing them say how they woulda won if Darnold wasn't dying of mono and how Mosley getting inured allowed Buffalo to come back in the 4th. The Jet offense did nothing that game.  They only scored because of flukey turnover.  We at least moved the ball on their defense pretty well, all game long.

  3. I live in Houston and I think Watson wants out.  Just my gut feeling.

DW's no dummy and I think he, just like anybody, sees the long term harm that BoB is doing to that franchise.  So, if BoB is there, I don't think there is any amount of money that Houston can offer DW to convince him to stay, especially if he has his pick of potential suitors.  Now, if BoB is let go because (a) BoB ruined the franchise or (b) ownership senses that DW won't stay with HOU if BoB is still around, then all bets are off and DW might stick around.  Of course, if the Texans turn into the burning dumpster filled with baby diarrhea diapers that I expect them to, getting rid of BoB might not be enough to keep DW around.  He' be entering his prime and again; could have his pick of teams and still make a lot of $$$.  Maybe even Buffalo!

Sit the starters and still win.  Jets will be running for the bus.

False.  They want this game.  Badly.  This is a team who thinks they shoulda won week 1.  It's also a team that beat a good team fighting for the playoffs in the Steelers.

More importantly is how well run/coached the teams are and stack up vs each other.  For me, is there any organization, front office plus coaching staff you'd trade in the AFC for ours?  Yea I know the recency bias is strong here but I truly think we're one of the best run organizations in the league which is amazing considering where we were just 3 years ago.

When you look at that here is what I have:

    Elite:

    Kansas City

    Buffalo

    Pittsburgh

    Good:

New England (Brady is done its over)

    Houston

    Everyone else

I'd add Baltimore to the elite category.

I also don't think Houston is very good (FO+Coach).  Bill O'brien is NOT a good coach.  He doesn't elevate his team on game day and the fact that he's also the GM (look at how bad their off season was in the draft and free agency) is also pretty damning.  Zero people skills.  His handling of the Clowney situation was a joke.  He and the team have been "successful" because of how good their defense has been historically and also because the roster had key superstar talent at important positions when he came on board (Watt, Hopkins) and drafting an obvious stud in Watson.  O'brien has underwhelmed in the playoffs too.

I would add that the Brown, Jets and Broncos all feel pretty good about their QB situations (not the other aspects of the team), at least as good as Buffalo does. I think at the end of the day Allen, Darnold and Baker have all kinda reached the same point but taken different paths to get there. IMO none of that group have clearly separated themselves from the others and based on what Ive seen nobody in NY or Cleveland is ready to be done with their QB. Also I think Drew Lock has shown enough to be excited for next year.

If were being honest here we all should be having our fingers crossed extra hard for Allen. Hes improved and lead this team to 10 wins but he still has things to work on.

Two things that need to be kept in mind when reviewing these "statistics"

    1. Quality of opposition - scoring 21 points against NE is much better than 21 against the Bengals

This is the key point.  It would be interesting to plot this against opponents win loss record

  8. I want so badly to be on the Allen train, but I just don't think he's ever going to be the guy if he can't limit the hero ball.

I listened to his presser today. He keeps saying the right things, week after week, how he needs to be smarter with the ball, but week after week he is carless with the ball.

That being said, I wanted him on the field in the 4th so he had a chance to "will us to victory", but... if he was smarter with the ball and only threw one or two INTs this is a different game and one we probably win.

Josh Allen was a liability on the field and the coaches need an intervention with him

The U.S version of game pass doesn’t offer the games live.

Is there a reason why you are strongly against using a streaming site?

    1.  Correct, I edited my post to clarify that I'd be looking for the International version of Gamepass

    2.  I've just never had any luck with the illegal streaming site.  They either don't work, have poor quality, or get shut down.  Plus, I'd be using my company computer so there's that....
