  1. Lets put this to bed. If that play happened in today's NFL, it likely still stands.
  2. So frustrating that we are injured after having an extra two days off. I figured Spain would play at least
  3. So what is the general consensus on White- now that we know he's inactive- Is he not playing because he doesn't want to catch Covid (so they are listing him as injured) or is he really hurt?
  4. Hopefully Trey plays.... Having him in the back field will definitely help us commit a little more to stopping the run.
  5. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I think you can watch it on CBS as normal... I live in Houston and this wasn't a game that we were normally going to get during the original broadcast (Houston played early). However, I checked the AT&T Uverse schedule and sure enough, it shows that it's on tonight. The reason might be that there is local rooting interests in Houston (AFC South)- so maybe this game might be broadcast in other AFC South and AFC East cities? I'm hoping the digital guide is telling the truth, otherwise I'm going to have to get to the bar quickly!
  6. what am I missing? NFL.com still has the game showing on Sunday....
  7. To be completely honest, for me it will be to see how he does against the hoodie. If he has a respectable game against the great, evil one, then I will be fully on board with the believe that he's a top QB in this league- that the biggest, most important moments won't be too big for him. I suspect Josh will prove me right With that said, I think his floor, right now, is higher than anybody else we've had since Kelly, so at worst, I think we have a better Andy Dalton on our hands.
  8. I didn't read through the whole thread (2 pages, what- I'm lazy today) and while I think we all agree that as a coach, Gase is a runny pile of clown sh1t, the Jets lost this game because of a defensive meltdown. Not only was Greggggggggg's dirty, unsportsmanlike character on full display, but his unit utterly failed when the chips were down. Yes, they collected turnovers, but they also let Rypien march down the field at well, after the Jets took the lead in a game where Darnold needed something to hang his hat on. If anybody needs to be fired this week, it's Williams. Gase has got to go too, but there is no way they can fire Gase and still claim to have Darnold's best interest in mind- even though we all know that Gase is probably more of a hurdle to Sam's ultimate development at this point. That, plus Johnson's public support of Gase make the optics of firing him now, impossible. The NY media would erupt. With all that said, I'm glad they are dysfunctional, but I want them to have some success this year. Not only for Darnold (whom I really like) but also to keep them out of the Trevor sweepstakes.
  9. I know. My dad always tells me how scary it gets as you get older, how fast the years go and he's right. Whats worse, we all lost a year of our lives in 2020. Thanks Covid!
  10. If he gets $50MM per year, that is approx $5MM more than the electric Mr. Patrick Mahomes is getting, and so for Josh to command such a premium would mean that he got us a Superbowl victory! Lets hope! Sorry about the pee. I get up like 3x per week now to pee. I'm 38. Boo.
  11. These ones especially made me chuckle.
  12. Agreed. Outstanding and creative terminology!
  13. Welp, this is good news! https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2020/09/bills-tremaine-edmunds-matt-milano-day-to-day-after-suffering-injuries-vs-jets.html
  14. Wait what's this? Are the games live? Can you cast the NFL app from phone to TV?
  15. I wouldn't say the Jets are a garbage team. They played us tough week 1 of last year and Sam Darnold finished out the Season 5-2. If we come out flat with little urgency, go dormant for a half or simply play sloppy with the football we can lose this game. I most certainly believe we are a better team, but as a division opponent they will play us tough... and with a chip on their shoulders since our Bills have been the media darlings of 2020 in the AFCE.
  16. https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/152094-jets-open-season-in-buffalo-per-manish/ I'm also so sick of hearing them say how they woulda won if Darnold wasn't dying of mono and how Mosley getting inured allowed Buffalo to come back in the 4th. The Jet offense did nothing that game. They only scored because of flukey turnover. We at least moved the ball on their defense pretty well, all game long.
  17. Curious to know what they said about SF and especially Houston (where I live). BoB is the most hated man in the city.
  18. Very sharp looking. The Chargers always have one of the best uniform sets, I think.
  19. I live in Houston and I think Watson wants out. Just my gut feeling. DW's no dummy and I think he, just like anybody, sees the long term harm that BoB is doing to that franchise. So, if BoB is there, I don't think there is any amount of money that Houston can offer DW to convince him to stay, especially if he has his pick of potential suitors. Now, if BoB is let go because (a) BoB ruined the franchise or (b) ownership senses that DW won't stay with HOU if BoB is still around, then all bets are off and DW might stick around. Of course, if the Texans turn into the burning dumpster filled with baby diarrhea diapers that I expect them to, getting rid of BoB might not be enough to keep DW around. He' be entering his prime and again; could have his pick of teams and still make a lot of $$$. Maybe even Buffalo!
  20. False. They want this game. Badly. This is a team who thinks they shoulda won week 1. It's also a team that beat a good team fighting for the playoffs in the Steelers.
  21. I'd add Baltimore to the elite category. I also don't think Houston is very good (FO+Coach). Bill O'brien is NOT a good coach. He doesn't elevate his team on game day and the fact that he's also the GM (look at how bad their off season was in the draft and free agency) is also pretty damning. Zero people skills. His handling of the Clowney situation was a joke. He and the team have been "successful" because of how good their defense has been historically and also because the roster had key superstar talent at important positions when he came on board (Watt, Hopkins) and drafting an obvious stud in Watson. O'brien has underwhelmed in the playoffs too.
  22. This is the key point. It would be interesting to plot this against opponents win loss record
