  1. I think we should keep him so long as he agrees to take a pay cut. Even in a limited role on 3rd downs, he still got pressure better than the others on our Dline.
  2. He's a good coach. But.... I don't know what else to say. We can't win in big moments. We should have been going for XP instead of 2pt and on that 4th down where we didn't convert, that should have been a FG. The Chiefs were ready for every short yardage play. For crying out loud; can't we try running it to the right once? McDermott was ok on this game, not great, but Spags took Brady to the woodshed. KC has had a horseshoe shoved up their ass all years. In retrospect, this outcome was not surprising
  3. Sorry about your dad. I know what you mean about having those visions or whatever you want to call them pop into your head because it's happening to me these past few weeks. Like hearing news reports of the electric mood in Buffalo following the win, Kelly being interviewed with tears in his eyes, tweets from famous athletes congratulating Josh, etc. Do I dare to dream?!?!
  4. Anybody with dreams of the bills winning? I've had very power and realistic dreams were the Bills win the SB. Never know who them team they are playing against is (usually the Dolphins or Chiefs), but the fact of the matter is that it they win the SB. I think I'll see it once in my life. I hope this is the year! ☝️☝️☝️
  5. Unfortunately, I think the Chiefs hit that playoff gear and win a close one. Having an extra 2 weeks off helps them, especially while we came away from Baltimore banged up on defense, even if Milano, Rapp, etc. play. Chiefs 30 Bills 27 That said I'm usually negative so hopefully I'm surprised and Buffalo punches their SB ticket!
  6. Brady was great in the 1st half. No so great in the second half. I wish we would have sneaked it twice, but when it was 4th and two, McD absolutely made the right call. Ravens defense was too tough to risk it. The drop on the 2 point conversion vindicated McD, but even if it was caught, we had over a minute and a half, 2 time pits and Josh Allen. Very happy for our team and also McDermott!
  7. The football gods might be doing us a solid weatherwise on Sunday. The forecast calls for a high of 20 degF and low of 9 degF w/ winds 5 to 10 mph. Apparently LJ doesn't like the cold and only has a 1-1 record in gea below freezing. https://www.google.com/amp/s/en.as.com/nfl/john-harbaughs-clear-message-about-qb-lamar-jackson-playing-in-the-cold-n/%3foutputType=amp
  8. Rams hosed again by the refs. The guy was thrown into the punter!
  9. I guess it was correct by the letter of the law, but certainly not the spirit of the law. How can you pass a friggen ball looking at the ground. Vikes got hosed
  10. Honestly, I've been thinking the same. I'd rather not play the Rams, but I'd rather play a team we lost a close one too compared to the Lions (for the same reason) or the Eagles (our SB history with the NFC East isn't good).
  11. What was Sustain saying all week?
  12. Agreed, it sucks that they miss an obvious call, but this is an example of special treatment in a good way. Better for the ref to talk to Josh and tell him to get the guys to reign it in, rather than flag us.
  13. Agree. I'd hire him today as a playoff consultant. Just another set of eyes to have in the building.
  14. Logically - Philly. Great all round team Superstitiously - Philly. We are 0-4 in Superbowls against the NFCE My gut - Lions - I think they are really smarting from the loss we gave them and I think we would struggle to contain their defense (side note- they are playing with scraps on defense and still somehow keep coming back from the dead like a zombie. They are amazing). It would be a high variance game. Similarly, I think we would do well against the Rams and would avenge our loss from a few weeks back. I voted for the Lions.
  15. I didn't see this posted anywhere: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bengals-fire-lou-anarumo-top-landing-spots-for-respected-defensive-coordinator-after-being-let-go/ Bengals fire Lou Anarumo. Despite their defensive performance this year, I think Lou is a great coach and defensive mind. I know we have Bobby Babich and I think he's done OK for a new DC, but man, would I love to have Lou Anarumo. I think he's great at adjustments and customizing a defense on a game to game basis VS what we do.
  16. The perennially scared Bills fan in me can't help but he nervous by how good Denver looks
  17. Made it look like it, but it wasn't. Matters where the ball was when it was thrown, not the player. The ball was thrown slightly backwards, so unfortunately a legal pass and hence a good no call from the ref
  18. Agreed. We need to have a creative game plan on defence against KC, BAL and CIN (if they get in). Can't keep relying on what we know hasn't been good enough in the playoffs.
  19. Unfortunately someone else will claim him before we do
  20. Not good. We aren't very good defensively on 3rd and long and that directly impacts our offense because we can't get the opposing teams offense off the field and put Josh Allen back on the field. Turns over help of course, but tend to be streaky and come in bunches as they say. If the D gets hot in January we can go tie to toe with any offense. We will need a very good plan to limit the Ravens. That game could easily be a ToP nightmare of we can't get time off the field and then fall behind.
  21. It was a lateral, not a forward pass. Camera angle wasn't exactly straight on and made it look like a forward pass. That said.... ...I 100% agree that we had a great chance to win it all that year. Warner and the Rams would have been tough, but I think we would have done better than TN because our defense was so good. We should have been ready for the lateral. History could have been different for us!
  22. This was cool, thanks for sharing OP. On a side note, did any of you notice how $hitty our old locker room was? It had low ceilings (looks like a drop ceiling with fluorescent panel lights, a small TV, bad lighting, etc? Seems like it's one long room with no breathing space, jammed packed with lockers not much nicer than a public country club. At the very least we have a better locker room now!
  23. When we played the Colts earlier this year. Did Taylor play? I'm too lazy to look it up
