I believe MVP is announced before the playoffs, so anything he does in the playoffs won't matter. Holding the AFCE will definitely help and, as good as I think he is, I think the voters will discount some of that based on competition. Stafford is just unreal this year. I think he takes it.

Sure... If we actually had some receivers. We don't have balance with offensive play makers. Pittsburgh wasn't a good run defense to begin with. We were motivated and beat an inferior team. Cook is terrific, but the Bills as a whole are inconsistent. Also. He seems to have a case of fumbleitis

So the NYG and NE game script isn't going well. The guys on Locked On Bills seemed to have some degree of hope that The Giants pass rush could slow NE down, but of course having a punt return for a tuddy doesn't help. Of course as I'm typing this Giants go and get. TD so maybe there is some hope. I think we are all Dart fans tonight but also all hoping for a NYG vs NE Superbowl repeat where the giants D Line feasts on the Patriots!

This year I realized that McBeane isn't the answer. They are very good but hit their ceiling. The roster isn't great and we've spent so much on trying to build a defensive line (that we still don't have) and in the mean time sacrificed offensive skill positions. Other than Josh, the only all star group we have is at OL. My real fear is that Josh has peaked physically. Hos big play escapablity is lacking and I'm afraid he's turning into Cam Newton. I don't think he achieves 40 TD this year. We have a Ferrari at QB but we put crap tires and cheap gas in it. He's going to need more and more roster help and I don't think McBeane are the people to build it or coach it.

Agreed- but since at the time I wrote this there weren't any reports of MVA's, police reports of shootings / domestic incidents, the congenital defect came to mind. Suicide is the other possibility too. Damn shame. RIP
