  1. Low end Okayist... Charlie Batch. He'll get you a win or two when the starter goes down and won't let the ship sink.
  2. Jon Kitna, Trent Green, Rich Gannon, Jake Plummer?
  3. Jeter -No..., Nomar Garciapara, maybe.
  4. My issue is that he fines Lynch for not talking to the media, but has no problem ducking public spotlight when its his turn. He's happy to be in front of the camera when things are going well, but when he's under fire, he hides under his desk.
  5. AP may very well be the exception to the "just another guy" running back philosophy in the NFL. I think he's worth more than 3-4 million per year, even at the age of 30. I wouldn't give him franchise QB money, but he's certainly more valuable than Ben Tate, Donald Brown, Toby Gerhart and Knowhawn Moreno were (each got $3 million or more last season).
  6. I haven't read through the entire thread, but what about Zach Mettenberger? If the Titans take Mariota or Winston with the #2 pick, and don't trade it away, where does that leave him?
  7. Has Arizona hired a DC after Bowles left? There's some talent and Bowles had them running a 4-3 last season.
  8. I'd settle for a mechanical bull behind each endzone with select co-eds chosen to battle at halftime. Fill the missing niche of the XFL.
  9. Its not enough for our o-line to be average (which currently we are not). If we go into the season with EJ or (fill in the blank journeyman QB) we need a dominant offensive line to pair with our dominant defense if we want to be legitimate post season contenders.. In relation to Rex coming in - his style of ground and pound is the best bet to win now. There's no guarantee that our defense will be in tact 2-3 years from now by the time that EJ or some other young QB is molded into top 15 NFL caliber QB. With our current personnel our best option is to win now by taking the game largely out of his hands, controlling the clock and holding the other team...winning the game defensively.
  10. I want no part of Murray after the number of carries he made this season and his injury history.
  11. RBs are a dime a dozen these days... Brown/Jackson/Spiller/Dixon + solid offensive line is greater than Ingram/Jackson/Spiller/Dixon and our guards.
  12. Orton sliding was preceded by Jackson running out of bounds without contact rather than squaring up and getting the first down on 2nd down. As for Marrone - I don't understand why so man NFL coaches have trouble with these decisions.
  13. Murray - Best potential of the bunch provided you are looking long term and not just this wee Herron - better than TRich and can take over the Bradshaw role Blount - Never trust a NE running back in fantasy
  14. I'll go to Detroit or Cleveland if they'll give me similar or better seats than what I currently own.
  15. On the flip side, when will a US city get a Barclay's Premier League franchise?
  16. you buy insurance when you have something of value to protect... Without more pieces in place you don't use a #1 or 2 or 3 for that matter to on a back-up.
  17. wait until after you get the contract.... now it's half hers.
  18. My draft board for the Bills looks like this. (one will be there... most likely several - and trade back is best if there is a willing partner. 1) Clowney 2) Mack 3) Robinson 4) Matthews 5) Watkins 6) Martin 7) Lewan 8) Evans (If we hadn't signed Williams, he'd possibly be ahead of Watkins) 9) Ebron
  19. He's been a beast in Madden in recent years... get 'er done
  20. If he's in high school now, he wasn't even alive for the Bills' Super Bowl run.
  21. More impressive? DT: Aaron Donald - 4.65 at 285 lbs and 35 reps DE: Clowney: 4.47 at 266 lbs and 21 reps P: Pat O'Donnel - 4.62 at 220 lbs and 23 reps.
  22. 1st - LB, 2nd - TE. 3rd - OL depth: Sign 1-2 veteran OL. Rookie LBs and TE can step in and contribute day 1. Linemen take time to contribute in a meaningful way.
  23. Obviously the game should be played in London or Toronto to increase "the Brand" throughout the world.
  24. In his defense... he did yell, "Down in Front!" twice before sliding.
  25. 38-17 Patriots - I think it's much more likely that Brady throws for 4 TDs than he throws for 0. Until our linebackers and secondary prove otherwise, I think quality QBs will pick us apart. and I'll be eastbound on the Thruway with at least 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
