  1. Good teams win by more than a TD (or are in complete control of the game in the 4th quarter and give up garbage time stats) on a regular basis. Above Avg teams find ways to win Avg teams are 500 Below Avg teams find ways to lose (see Buffalo) Bad teams lose by more than a TD on a regular basis We are somewhere between a Below Avg and Avg team with delusions that we are Avg to Above Avg.
  2. If he were to go to LA, we've learned that mini bottles of Tobasco would be at his disposal for every breakfast.... just sayin
  3. Franks needs to stick to wings - and even those could use a dose of Tobasco. Tobasco on eggs, and it's not even close. If there's no Tobasco, it's acceptable to ask for Sriracha (as everyone has it these days thanks to hipsters and the Food network). End of Thread
  4. Shane Falco - a leader of men https://youtu.be/OTVfBjtsZuE
  5. I don't see the Bills waiting until the 4th round to take a QB - how is he different than Cardale at this point? He's a big body, big arm with potential but numerous question marks. If they're taking a QB, it someone for Whaley to bank his career on, and it won't be day 3 of the draft in my opinion.
  6. Even more reason why you need a strong legged kicker in Buffalo. Lets not forget we also have had to "waste" roster spots on carrying a second kicker for kickoffs because he can't reach the endzone. Would this game have been different had the Dolphins had a touchback at the end of the 4th?
  7. In fairness, he did have an extra quarter....
  8. I would love to be the coach coming into the the Jacksonville job... There's tons of young talent on that roster, in a division that's not that crowded with talent, and a locale with historically low expectations.
  9. Goff is looking much better. 30 seconds later - welcome to the concussion protocol
  10. 1) replacing Tyrod with a franchise QB eliminates the need to fix the others. 2) Replacing Rex with a top tier coach, fixes Tyrod and makes him serviceable 3) moving Brandon back to PR alone makes Whaley better 4) Whaley - maybe I'm still drunk on koolade, but I think next year we will have a very different opinion of him. Edit - if you don't have a better replacement for Tyrod, don't change him just for the sake of change. If he doesn't renegotiate to something in line with the a top 25-30qb, replace him Ruth a journeyman and spend savings elsewhere.
  11. Josh McDaniel should be the front runner for LA.
  12. He and John Brown both disappeared this season. I really thought Floyd was going to be "the man" a few years ago, but it never translated at the NFL level.
  13. You can't bring him back... at least not at that number. Sure he'll only be paid in the middle to lower end of starting QBs, but if the option is there to get a Hoyer or some other capable journeyman 1/3 the cost, you're better off spending the money elsewhere (CB, Safety, OL, WR). We are not a playoff caliber team with Tyrod at the helm, and the drop off isn't significant enough from him to journeyman QB "X", to justify not spending the money at some other position of need. His legs are an absolute asset, and if he could learn to throw first, run second, he could be devastating. I don't blame the line because you watch him go through the progression, and then decide to run when the pocket collapses. If they're giving him enough time to see 4 receivers, it's on him to identify the best target and fire. If after 6 years in the league he hasn't developed any sort of quick twitch decision making (outside of tuck it and run), he's not going to at this point. If Cardale isn't at a point where he's rosterable by week 14, I'm afraid we know where that one's going too.
  14. The guy hurdled the center/guard... there was no chance a kick of any distance was getting off there. I agree there are no elite defenses this season. Every defense this season has weaknesses.
  15. What makes you think the Saints would have won yesterday under the old rules? The kick still would have been blocked and you'd have overtime. The defensive special teams made an extraordinary play - and this is why you have every play count.
  16. Do you have any idea who the other remaining players are taking?
  17. If Tyrod plays like this the rest of the season, we'll be fine. If he goes back to the Tyrod we've seen most of the season, it's all downhill.
  18. the highest point is in the uprights... you go for the ball wherever it is.
  19. I blame the ref for not blowing the play dead immediately, but Sherman looked like he was going for the ball. He had to... If Carpenter kicks and makes it, the Bills would decline the offsides penalty and take the points. The play should have been whistled dead... then they could have hit him for 15 yards for continuing after the whistle.
  20. The myOneBuffalo program has been a terrible rollout on the app too. I've had issues getting credit for my season ticket, attending games, going to (716), etc.... not to mention the discounts that come along with it haven't worked either.
  21. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=What%27s+Gibran+Hamdan+doing+now%3F apparently fashion.
  22. Aren't compensatory picks based upon the number of free agents you lose vs. how many you sign? My understanding is that there's no guarantee you'd get one if he leaves unless you don't sign another free agent.
