  1. Taylor's elusiveness is an asset and a liability... He makes his own plays, but sometimes that means the OL have 0 idea where he is and block accordingly. He may get tons of rushing yards for a QB, but a QB that read the defense and reacted accordingly, wouldn't need to be rushing the ball nearly as often. If he can learn after all this time to be a pocket QB first, his legs will become even more dangerous and the sky's the limit... but until that time, his upside is limited.
  2. The Bills did it twice... there's no doubt in my mind that we knew at least "some" inside detail on Carolina's draftboard. Whether that came from Beane or from McDermott's knowledge of the organization, we'll likely never know without investigation. Either way, it's about time the Bills started acting like they're paying attention.
  3. I think he plays well and we end up having to franchise tag him... If there's no QB/passing game improvement, he walks.
  4. In case you didn't read the other 3 threads - the Bills have elected not to pick up Sammy's 5th year option. /sarcasm
  5. I would have taken KC's trade. Then I would have offered the 27th pick plus our original 3rd to trade back up and get OJ Howard. Then my draft would look like: 18) OJ Howard - TE 44) Obi Melifonwu - S 91) Cordea Tankersly/Cameron Sutton - CB The rest - who knows. We'd still have holes in the roster, but we're in rebuild mode no matter how you look at it.
  6. What's to say that we won't have the #1 pick next year anyway?... since we didn't take Lattimore at 10 and didn't address RT at 27, aren't we doomed for failure anyway? Our natural pick could be 1 or 2 and we'll have KC's to add a playmaker or OL to help....
  7. agreed... that kind of guy beats his wife. he will not be long for the nfl
  8. my sources say white... chalk it up
  9. foster - an injured player, fits doug's mo
  10. what's the cost to move back up at this point to get Howard? I'd give this year's 3rd or next years via KC - imagine getting a guy we wanted in the 1st and getting a 1st for next year...
  11. I dont think robinson makes it beyond the giants
  12. You can't have competitive swimming and hockey without facilities and those are few and far between in American urban centers where there's the highest concentration of minorities.
  13. Genetically, whites are better at cheating, back door dealings and manipulating the system.... (see the illuminati, mafia, free masons, conventional American politics etc) /sarcasm
  14. The article won't help any future lawsuit, as Joe admits that he's informed of the potential consequences and has made the active decision that the reward is worth the risk.
  15. Take him day 2 no questions asked..
  16. McCoy - $8,875,000 DiMarco - $1,850,000 Tolbert - $695,000 Williams - $600,228 They're not going to pay another $4 million this year to a backup RB, no matter how productive he was last season. Take the draft pick, pick someone else to compete with Williams at a cost less than 25% of what MG would be due, and move on...
  17. RB is about the easiest position to fill.... I'd take a 1st for Hughes, but I wouldn't blow it on a RB
  18. Pat's official injury report still shows "A. Hernandez: Questionable with a neck"
  19. Kaep only works as a Bills backup if we think this is a "win now" team. Ideally you want your backup to have a similar skill set as your starter so the transition isn't catastrophic in the event of an injury. That said, if you think having a QB with pocket skills is a necessity, do you really want both guys in front of your "development project" to share similar bad habits. If Tyrod is a place holder, I'd rather have a backup that can help develop Cardale or (QB to be drafted).
  20. I remember when Brandon Pettigrew was that guy.... and when Eric Ebron was that guy... and when Dustin Keller was that guy
  21. Mixon will get drafted, and I'm betting well before the end of the third. I honestly think there's a small chance he could go in the late first to a team like Green Bay or Oakland that needs RB and questions whether he'll make it to their second round selection. Based on that thought process - I don't see a scenario where the Bills take him. If after we picked a WR, S, CB, OL (not necessarily in that order) he was still on the board, I wouldn't hesitate to take him.with a 5th.
  22. Stating EJ Manuel is the worst just shows recency bias. That year was absolutely brutal at QB in hindsight. We were at 8, traded back to 16, got the top QB on our board and a pick that later became Kiko Alonso. From the last 20 years: "Obvious - not Monday morning QB - F#ck-ups" Mike Williams at #4 when Bryant McKinnie should have been the pick. Donte Whitner at #8 when Ngata should have been the pick Aaron Maybin at at #11 when Orakpo should have been the pick "Misses" John McCargo #26 CJ Spiller at #9 - we had RB depth at the time, but some loved the pick at the time
  23. Lets be honest... our RBs are good compared to our QBs - it's like lusting after a 7 because she's with a pack of 3's and it's closing time.
