  1. He’s the EJ Manuel of our defense... I didn’t like the pick at the time. He seems like a hard worker with a good attitude, and I’ll continue to hope is “Potential” pans out.
  2. "According to court documents" - the court documents are her attorney's statement only.
  3. If I'm not mistaken the cops called to the scene around 3:20AM. That would make the first call to be to the police/911 for a home invasion, long before any online post or press release.
  4. Unrelated - the Buffalo Bills have asked to recall all of their BEAT LOUDER flags that were distributed with season tickets last week.
  5. https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/lesean-mccoy-“allegedly”-beats-women-and-dogs.1696985/ I assume this is what the OP is talking about.
  6. probably better than FAP FAP FAP!
  7. I just received my season tickets. The best marketing campaign slogan they could come up was One Heart BEAT LOUDER? We need to bring Russ back.
  8. Smart - tell suspected snitches 5 different stories and see which one ends up on Reddit. I learned this is High Level Business Meetings 101.
  9. Great topic. I don't think it's ever been covered before. 1) Kyle Orton - stone cold killer of defenses, bourbon and virginity 2) Bledsoe - short window of good-great in Buffalo 3) Fitzgerald - Jeckyl and Hyde - the gunslinger everyone wanted, until they realized what a gunslinger means 4) Tyrod - got us to the playoffs, but I think anyone of the three above would have gotten us there too. .......everybody else.
  10. The only plausible scenario I can see is that something "shady" happened with his agent. If his agent failed to act as his fiduciary and got him to agree to something that wasn't in his best interest, I can understand him being pissed - saying, "I'd rather retire than be treated like this"... and then have second thoughts later. If there was something underhanded done, either perceived or actual, I can also understand the Bills being willing to let him walk as they wouldn't want a malcontent in "the process".
  11. I know this has been covered several times, but don't we already have KB on the team? Let's focus on getting someone to stretch the field.
  12. Giants cut medical staff - Eli performs preseason physicals
  13. That wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. That scenario would likely mean we trade out for multiple firsts (get top OL and WR later in the round) or get the top edge rusher to go along with top FAs.
  14. When returning from a high level business meeting, it occurred to me that WGR has been largely un-listenable for quite a while. Outside of Sal, it's largely just bitching followed by a seemingly endless stream of commercials.
  15. Rosen is said to be intelligent, yet Allen had a significantly higher Wonderlic score. Rosen may be much closer to his physical and mental ceiling, while Allen has much more perceived upside. Rosen's size and injury history has to be a concern for long term durability. Sam Bradford is a great comparison Stretching it a bit... if Rosen and Allen are both Pro Bowl players, who do we have the best chance of retaining long term when FA becomes an option, and who is more likely to be a disgruntled employee.
  16. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Its td also widely accepted that QBs under 6’2” aren’t successful, QBs with multiple concussions are at higher risk... pick the stat that supports your opinion and roll with it. Bottom line, the Bills identified their QB and made the necessary move to secure him. That’s what we all collectively wanted.
  17. There's also the chance that Rosen has already reached his potential, while its widely accepted that Allen has considerable room to improve.
  18. 3 years. Year 1 -sits. Year 2 - competes for starting job, takes reins at some point. Year 3 - established starter with some experience. After year 3 he has 20-30 games of experience to evaluate.
  19. A-. Had they made the same move and taken Rosen, I, along with many here, would be declaring it a A+. While the Allen pick seems like a wash, rinse and repeat (big arm, accuracy issues, etc) I like that Beane moved up and took “his guy”. He let the board fall to him to a certain extent and kept 22. Then he made a bold move, and the evaluated Allen’s potential ahead of Rosen or any of the others.
  20. Best case Risen slips to 12 and we trade back up in the first to get a quality guard or tackle in the first. worst case, QBs go 1-2-3 and we have to trade up for Allen
  21. It snuck up on me this year. Do you think we should go QB in round 1?
  22. I want Rosen or Mayfield. I think both are available without selling out. I have no problem moving up before the Dolphins, but I don't think it's necessary to move up to the Giants' 2 at the expense of the 22 and next year's 1st too. I think it's entirely possible that we see both still on the board at pick 10.
