  1. And they would be on rookie deals. He would be looking at his second contract.
  2. And lee and PS TE.... no TEs this week.
  3. He pays NJ taxes... he’d actually pay a little less in Buffalo.
  4. In regards to Edmunds - perhaps he's not suited to be a LB in our nickel defense. It could simply be a scenario where our system doesn't match our players -which is scary because we spent a lot of draft capital on players for this system. I keep waiting for his speed and length to be a factor, but he's playing reactionary, rarely penetrates and seems lost in coverage. Right now it seems like we have a lot of guys better suited to be defensive ends or a outside linebackers in a base defense, trying to play in the middle of the defense and it isn't working.
  5. Oliver is too small to play inside. Edmunds needs to be outside too.
  6. I’ll say Whaley was a better pro personnel guy and Beane a better drafter. Beane’s misses in the draft haven’t been total busts/liabilities.
  7. It's not our money - I don't care if the Pegulas spend it or if they overpay for a 1 year rental. If there isn't DL readily available to step in which would need that cash, however they want to spend their money to improve the team this season is fine by me. You can't say with a straight face that replacing Taiwan Jones with Bell would make our team worse.
  8. Bojo can blast them, but he lacks touch and rarely pins the opposition back. He’s not a good placeholder - and should be replaced.
  9. Pass protection generally gave Allen time. Beasley did what he does. Yeldon hit the holes hard. Epenesa had a solid pressure on the one play I saw him on the field... and then jumped Offside and was benched. McD’s reaction leads me to believe there were issues leading up to the game with AJ.
  10. AJ Brown over 55 yards seems like a gimme.
  11. Hindsight: keep Gilmore, draft Patrick Mahomes, maybe move for Nelson at guard instead of drafting Allen, take DK in last year’s second and have Justin Jefferson last year or CEH. fwiw - I didn’t like Gilmore, i didn’t want Mahomes, I wanted DK but am happy where we are.
  12. If that’s the case - why would they need to close the facility today?
  13. It’s not like this recent positive test was an unimaginable outcome. The league shouldn’t be figuring out how to reschedule today - that plan should have been in place when they moved the game the first time (or earlier). When you have a product worth billions of dollars, you don’t make it up as you go along.
  14. Ideally those come tomorrow or Saturday so we move the KC game back and proceed as planned.
  15. Logical - assuming there are no other positives
  16. If it means the rest of our season isn’t in jeopardy for actions we didn’t take.... yes I’ll take a forfeit “W”.
  17. That's fine when you play 60 games or more, but when you only play 16 games one lost opportunity for a win/loss has major ramifications on playoff seeding, draft order, etc.
  18. The line is giving him a great pocket, and he is picking apart defensive backfields. QBs like Aaron Rodgers stick around in this league - QBs like RGIII have smaller windows.
  19. It’s total BS. There’s no reason every game can’t be available at least on a PPV basis if it’s not covered in your local market.
  20. Packers, Barnstormers (Arena), Rams, Giants, Cardinals
  21. I see Miami as. .500 team at best this season. I think they’re league average, but playing better than average competition most weeks (given AFC East schedule this season. Was really impressed with Robinson at RB last night. He played A style like what I thought Moss was going to be for us.
  22. I’m not sure there’s a position on that list I wouldn’t take the KC side of at this point... that can change in a year, but nearly every KC player listed is proven, and we’re working with “potential” at this point. I think we are considerably closer to Houston than KC from an offensive standpoint. KC is steps ahead of everyone. As for comparing Brown to Watkins in production. 1 was the primary target in the passing game while the other was the 3rd option at best. This year Brown will be a 2/3 and in a more similar role to Watkins.
  23. It would push back his contract status a year and gives him no more leverage. He loses his age 25 year - we still have his 5th year option and can franchise him. Is he going to hold out at that point and lose another year or prime health? I don't see the benefit for him from a negotiation standpoint for him.
  24. maybe there’s a compromise. Are you willing to report to public health and quarantine for 14 and/or get tested after attending the game?
