I actually like when Tim alerts me to these things, but I'm also a huge nerd. However, there is something to be gleaned from these ratings, and that's how objective viewers rate players against each other. I'm not saying the ratings are accurate, but they're interesting to compare on a lazy afternoon.

Right, and Jason Peters wasn't any good at it. I don't care what hype surrounds this guy, I watched all the games, and he either flat sucked or was mediocre. We got some very good picks to fill some of our more glaring needs, and everyone is still whining about this guy.

As a former rugby player, I just want to tell you that almost no one in the NFL ever performs a real form tackle. And yes, to answer your question, a real form tackle in no way involves leading with your head. I can confirm this, since in rugby, leading with your head = a broken neck. In any case, Clark made no attempt to wrap, and used his helmet as a weapon. That's illegal by NFL rules.

That was a clear, intentional, helmet to helmet hit. I don't care if he hurt himself in the process, so did Eric Smith when he broke Boldin's face. This is no different.

It was nowhere near 2 seconds after the playcock expired. It was arguably less than a second. It did not cost Tennessee their season, their inability to hold onto the ball in the red zone did. These delay of game calls are wishy washy all the time, not so sure why it matters now all of a sudden...

If you want to complain about picking him, let's not make stuff up. He could very well make the best OLB we'd have from a pure size and speed standpoint. And the dude can hit, hard. I'm not understanding how people can really blame much of anything on our safeties. Yes, here and there they have screwed up as a group, but Whitner is nowhere near as bad as some of you think he is. Ed Reed could come to Buffalo and he wouldn't be doing half the amazing sh-- he does in Baltimore. We have ZERO pass rush, and the safeties have to deal with receivers and a quarterback who can pick and choose where they want to tear our stupid zone coverage up, play after play. Our safeties are better than they appear, and if we can get a solid pass rush I really think you'll change your tune. And btw, to the person who keeps saying a safety should be playing the ball and not the man, I think you're missing the point of a **safety**.
