Our GM is a 70 yr old GM and first timer as well. He is a lifelong scout, not a GM so I am soure he does not have the contacts a tried and true vet GM would have right now. Let's face it, he is on a learnign curve.

If George M. or M cuban or The Donald owned this team I bet you there would be tons of guys that would come here. NFL shares the TV package with all the teams so no reason we can't come up with money and invest in our team rather than RW's bank accounts.

If the Jets could get a 4th this yr and a 7th nexy year for trading Kerry Rhodes we should be able to better that for witnerd...... I see a a 3rd, at least. Why no moves??? Are we awake yet or napping?

We build thri the draft then 3 years later we don't re-sign the good palyers we drafted as they cost too much so we re-draft the same DBs we let go previously for no return. A viscous cycle. with no cap this year it wa sideal for us to fill holes with good players.

And in another 5 years we will be competetive....

Just watch last year's RU vs Syracuse game and you will see why he should not be the pick. shiano placed him on wsecond team in spring last year due to fitness/attitude issues. Hope we do not go this route. been folling him since his days at Piscataway HS,. Tremeondous size/speed. ? aggresiveness and attitude.

My guess is his heart just wasn't into it. Was always rehabbing and getting hurt again and again. Was average at best anyway when healthy so I don't see this changing how or who we draft anyway.

Bradfor reminds me of ol Jim Kelly coming out of colllege with the shoulder injury and same talent. We lucked out with him, mayne we will luck out with Sam B as well?

I saw the Pistol offense work so well 2 and 3 years ago with Andrew Robinson as a QB I can't wait for us to use it.

I see a 3 to 4 yr rebuilding project. Bythat time McNabb will be retired or injured. Stay the course and draft our own players.

Seems to me with rushing , recieving and KR and PR 's he must have had over 10,000 yards total. The guy did almost everything as I do remember him from my younger days. Bowlegged as could be and tough to knock down for a little guy. I don't have a problem with him making it but do agree Cookie should be in it also.

Jim Kelly was coming off a shoulder injury out of Miami and we did good with him so I would take either of these 2 guys if available.

Now in addition to LT and QB we need a whole new Def Line basically except for maybe Williams and we need at least 2 more LBs.

I wouldn't ming a combo of either Claussen/Bradford and a LT in 2nd or Campbell or top LT available in 1st and then in second Tony Pike at QB. Or just take big LB in 1st and either qb or lt in 2nd.

Seemed like he spoke well at the press conference so I will give him a chance. that being said he has 0 career playoff victories and never lasts more tahn 2 years at any job other tha G Tech. time will tell , I guess.
