I agree about roaming and starting off the line. I see the kid at times in a 4 point stance, not even a 3 point one usually. Lawrence Taylor was built like this kid and had freedom to raom. Why not try the same thing with Maybin?

I don't have a prpoblem with Trent's throwing the ball but he has to get more zip on his throws. Can't throw a changeup on a sidleine pass across the field. Ball was thrown too softly as usual.

I saw Banks, a non drafted small quick guy out of what Kansas state look better at returns than our high pick Spiller. Why couldn';t we pick this guy up after the draft and give him a chance?

When was the last time anyone saw Trent go back in the pocket, avoid the rush with a slide step and fire the ball 20 yards downfield accuartely for a completion over the middle?????? His game is 3 to 4 yards passes within the line of scrimmage. Problem is the defense all comes up and now we can not run or do a draw or screen pass as everyone is blitizing as the msot we make them pay for a blitz is maybe a 2 yard pass to a back or wideout. Trent is the anti-Joe Namath. Best pracice player we have but not a game palyer at all.

Don't understand the hate as i listened to theisman tell us all night long how Maybin was always around the play and making things happen. He and Troup looked good to me. They made more tackles and plays in their first few minutes then Stroud did or any of our LBs and Dts. I watched the game and saw a small, quick OLB that just needs to grow and fill out. He's only 21 yrs old. Not many LBs are as quick as him.

You are right. Short term thinkers would have given up on Sandy Kofacs when he was 21 and payed for it later. It woul dhave been like us years ago giving away Daryl Lomonico to the Raiders...oops. Give the kid a chance. If he is 25 and still not doing well then fine. give him a chance with a decent coaching staff and let's see first. i think the kid's going to be a stud. Give him a chance.

I agree. First year GMs like him may not even know how to play the negotiating game with other GMs. Let's face it, we have a 70 yr old learning on the job as a first time GM.

Seeing it in writing makes me feel so negative . Our OL has a chance to be pitiful, at best. We are in trouble. Taht being said, our def ends are not ionspiring thoughts of Bruce Smith either. Seeing our Qbs again in writing also lead me to believe 6-10 wopuld be realistic. We need 3 more solid drafts to turn this around unless we pick up star OL , Des and a real Qb.

We know what we have in Captian Checkdown and Fitz. That being said it would be nioce for Brohm to get a legit chance to start for us. We need some ray of hope at this position.

Agree with this assesment. i would have taken Clauseen or if not then the Joseph guy the Giants drafted for NT. Troup might have been there in 3rd round for us. Guess we have to look at this as a two year draft procedure at this point to fill all oiur needs with next year focusing on Tackles and Qb.

I'd get him 12 to 15 carries and 5 receptions every game out of the backfield. What would be so hard about this? I'd sit him on STs and use simpson or mckelvin for KOs and Parrish/mckelvin for PRs.
