Red shirted sophomore I beleieve. Kid can throiw the ball down the field. I agree. Mallet, Luck, Locker and maybe this kid is next. Runs a New Orleans like passing game and would do well in NFL I think. Seen all his games in college and also a tough kid that can move well. makes good decisions overall. He and savage maybe top qbs in big east thsi year. Both look like potential pros.

If we don't target one this year I would look in the near future at Ryan Nassib of SU who throw better than anybody we have on the roster and is only a sophomore(but was redshirted once yr). Watched him yesterday and all passes are on target and throws the ball down the field. Mallet/Luck/Locker probably 1-2-3 in that order. Would not surprise me if Nix goes a different direction and takes a tackle or LB insteda.

Yeah, Buddy seems like such an astute evaluator when it comes to QBs ie Trentless.

Nix, though 70 is a first yr gm, not sure if he even knows how to consumate a trade. If he is a draft guru as people say then ,move Lynch or Jackson , one of the two for draft pick.

Just can't see ralph doing anyhting except lowereing team salary in ant possible trade. I can seee a draft pick for Lynch or Jackson, that is about it.

I think it is hard to be a succesful reveiver on ateam with no QB playing that can throw a football other than behind the line of scrimmage if no prevenmt package is against us. With TE, Randy Moss would look like Hardy.

Our QB has no pocket prescence whatsoever and never will. He makes a mediocre OL look pitiful. Trent is clueless. I'd rather have the Brown kid back there at leaset trying to throw downfield.

trent Edwards passing the ball downfield is like Steve Sax trying to thorw the ball to first base a few years ago. Only difference is Sax actually attempts his throws. Trent needs a sports psychologist.

Whe there are 8 or 9 guys in the box we must make them pay with throws down the field. To throw 3 yard passes or behind the line only encourages more pass and run blitzes. Unless our QB gets respect in this regard we will have no running game as well.

Teams need a QB to take the bull by the horn and drive them upo the field when needed. If anyone saw that in TE yesterday or last year then they need a new eyeglass p[resciption because even Stevie Wonder was heard yelling yesterday " just throw the damn ball!!!!!"

Corney suck with the Jets years ago, suck with the reaiders recently and makes Langston walker look like orlando pace. Worst two Ts in NFL by far. Neither would start on any team.
