  1. You are so wrong it is unbelievable youare a Bills fan. Lee Evans would shine in the right situation as he has in the past. He did not get old or slow at his age. He is at the top of his physical ability. It's one thing tio hate a guy, but give him some credit for what he has done and can do.,
  2. Did you see how many dropped passes the WRs on Indy had the last few games. Lee Evans would be a game breaker with Peyton like Marvin Harriosn was. Lee Evans can still play and with a team like Indy, they need WRs as Gonzalez and Clark , the WR TE guy are al;ways hurt at key times. m Lee Evans would be perfect with them.
  3. I thought I heard the same thing.
  4. Waht was Poz, like 5th in whole NFL in Tacckles last season? Guy is our best LB by far. Look who was playing to his left or rght all season and also a min-sized strong saftey and you se why we gave up so many yards on the ground.
  5. You really don't believe he could take over Marvin Harrison's role for Indy????
  6. So we can draft more projects that do not play their first year....
  7. To Peyton Manning he'd be worth a one or a two. We just need to engage them in talks.
  8. That being said about the QB position is true, however didanyone see the size of the DL and LBs in this years S Bowl???
  9. We need defensive big guys on the front 7. I wouldn't take adrian peterson if he was available at 3! We need size on defense!
  10. These things are so true it's comical, yet sad.
  11. I agree and I also feel Kelsay, Spencer Johnson, Stroud, McCargo and our other band of renouns at DL and LB, other than Troup, Williams and Carrington will not get any better as the years go on. They are what they are. Troup and Carrington did not show they had a great uposide as well from what I have seen so we do need more talent on DL and LB slots to try and sop the run. A biggger strong saftey would also help.
  12. Yea, Maycok is such an astute judge of talent.....
  13. The guy is a monster. just saw som eof his workouts on tv. wow. gigantic and athletic and arm like ole terry bradshaw, throws zips at ease. Guy looks like 6'6 and 260 lbs of soild muscle. He will be gone by 3.
  14. Bring back the solid royal blue jesreys from the 60s!!!
  15. Years ago Bills stadium was called Ricj Stadium. Was it after this guy or his family somehow? I am not from the area so clueless in this regard.h
  16. We did draft him and Carrington at 2 and 3 but they did not really show they could be difference makers.
  17. Not sure if you guys can see this but Pro football War room lists all Ts available, not RT or LT as free agents: http://warroom.sportingnews.com/freeagents/position/t-name.html
  18. We have to get bigger on the defense. Does anyone think it is a surprise that the NY Jets will place the franchise tag on David Harris rather than Santonio Holmes or Edwards, two potentially great WRs? There is a reason for this. There are only so many good big guys avaialble that can affect a game. :Little skilled guys are just like desert, we need the meat and ppotatoes guys on this team.
  19. I guess because Spiller worked out so well as a playmaker then Green is given....
  20. I bet he got over 100 K in hush money via rexy.....LOL
  21. If tehjre wasa choice i also would go with the more tried and true tested guy like Newton as well. Too many wxperts looking for diamonds in the rough or sleepers early on.
  22. If we did not give up like 350 yards per game on the ground I would agree perhaps. Right now sounds a lot like the Spiller pick, and Magahee Pick, and the Evans pick, and the Lynch Pick, and the Losmann pick where we went for skill/talent choice over size and need.
  23. Great photos. I became a Bills fan in 1963 as they detroyed the NY Jets at old Shea Stadium in the first football game my dad took me to. Everyone with us was jets fans as we got free tix from Leon Hess as guys in my neighborhood worked at the Hess oil refiner where I grew up in NJ. Only thing was after seeing Gilchrist and the Bills destroy the Jets is that I was hooked on them and have never stopped in 47 years. Now my 2 boys also are hooked and we go to Buffalo once a year in addition to NJ when the Bills are in town. Great photos of the old goal posts on the goal line. Those were the days. I also remember the game that the opposition claimed that Gogo was offsides on his KOs and the refs called it twice or so one game as his plant foot was over the 40 yard line on his plant. Not sure if this was 1964 or 1963. Rememeber Tom Day extending his arm to the QB after a sack to help him up. Those were the days of Tracy, Jacobs Stratton, best LBs ever. Sestak, Day, Dunaway, Byrd, edgerson, Saimes, etc. real tough players who played for pride , not $.
  24. Just sign Smith from the Jets as he is a FA.
