Our shrewd GM does minimal in Free agency except signing backups and not adressing TEs or OT in draft or free agency so yeah , we will always be rebuilding as we don't sign starers anyway. Good excuse as to why we never win for our coach and GM. Jets go from laughing stock to AFC Champ games in pne year with new coach, minimal picks but agressive FA moves. I have seen almost all of revis's games and he does get help up top a lot as he jams the line on guys so he is not the perfect CN that Ryan says he is. I also think he is solid but over reated. Raider guy is bbeter from what I can see.

Somehow the Jets made it to the AFC Champ game two yrs in a row with only like 5 draftable players the last two years I think. They used Free agency and it worked for them pretty fast turning around a crap franchise, why can't we combine both draft and free agency if it improves us short and long term. With our philosphy, if we draft good and players become solid starters, in 3 or 4 yrs we don't re-sign them and they sign as FAs elsewhere it seems anyway, so how is that builiding? We are only trying to replace what we lose.

I have learned to tune out optimimism regarding good players at a position of need for us. Tell me when he signs with us, then I'l get interested.

If Kelsay is worth 6 million, then Poz is worth 8!!!! We cannever build anything wiothout re-signing starters that were decent. We will only be trying to repklace solid peices like Clements, Winfield, Williams, etc as in the past.

The Jets , with no sal cap money are trying to re-arange contacts to sign Asomugha and edwards,Holmes while we, with 40 million extra cap space to spare are not targeting anyone in top 70???? Why Not??> R we going ot give bounus money to our current existing mediocre group to get to minimal sal cap money per team?
