  1. Just a thought, what if Cassel started game one, then we surprise the cheatriots with TT in game 2?
  2. Geez, I wonder how long before this turns into another QB thread? .... aaaahh
  3. I think Shady has pulled this off before. Also, most injuries are, 4-6 weeks, 8-12 weeks, but the next morning it comes out " he will be ready week 1". Why were they able to predict the actual day/week he will be ready so soon.
  4. not really getting carried away, " in my opinion" he just looks more of the Qb I would prefer to see. - not a fan of a little guy that scrambles all the time - Cassel is solid, just not very mobile - EJ has the size, the arm strength, and can run "when necessary" - now the story is he isn't as consistent as we would like, maybe this is true. After watching the game, I am much happier with the QB situation than what has been reported throughout off season and camp. I will be happy with, and route for whoever the coaches decide is best. I just wonder if they like EJ more than letting on, maybe they don't want to show their hand until they need to.
  5. why so much emphasis on the two botched snaps? Did anyone notice the touchdown? also a couple obvious drops by TE's. And one bad throw, oh yeah after rolling out to avoid sack. those 2 catches and he is 6 for 8. Not sure why, he just looks the part to me, more than the other 2.
  6. after evaluating all of the QB's the last week, none of them have taken any snaps with the ones yet today. And they have failed to make a completion. Even Sammy and Percy are not even running out their routes Just Pitiful!!!
  7. Damn, If that was some type of "hazing" and Geno, took his money and won't pay him back, he deserved to get punched. And if it was not a sucker punch, ie: face to face, and they cut the rook..... This could get a lot better, hehehe
  8. OY!!!! Enough already. Jeez, when they come out to the field tomorrow, and TT is in front of the others, I bet he starts opening day, oh wait, EJ might be carrying a ball, would that make him the starter? Well, I guess it depends if Cassel has his helmet on, then it will obvious.
  9. Son of * /^%$###** you **$##!!! Well played!!! ( darn Dallas) :wallbash:
  10. I'll second that - Thanks ASTRO!!!
  11. Wow, Kinda forgot bout that, thanks for slapping me in the face with it! You are totally correct, nothing negative, ignorant, ......
  12. Thanks, although we all bow to Astro, it is nice to hear everyones opinion, since I can't make it myself
  13. One team won the Superbowl.... SO!, you are saying there is a chance !!!
  14. I a not dis-agreeing totally with you as much as I am saying that they need to be held accountable for their choices, if it doesn't work. Sure, we did not have a QB to trade but, would someone trade a qb for Darius? I am not saying I would, just saying they COULD. I mean, would Pitt have taken Darius and Kyle Williams for Rothlisberger? Depends on the value you put on QB, some here say you can't win without a good QB. They chose to build the best team around what they have. That was the road they chose, and I can't say I dis-agree, just have to be accountable, most of are at our jobs.
  15. Just says, me, my opinion. It is "my" thought that they want one of these young guys to come through, but they needed someone that could at least stabilize the offence if they don't. Just because we didn't see any options better does not mean they could not have done something. I am not saying this is better but; - Petty, Grayson, .... they didn't draft anyone.(in 2 years) - Foles, Bradford, whoever else..... no trades Hey they decided to go with who they have, and BILLeve me, I hope it works out, especially EJ or Taylor.
  16. Good point, and also they would realize the "desperation" of needing that last piece, would drive the price up significantly. Although, I don't see anything happening, gotta go with what they got now, unless a surprise cut later on.
  17. thought it was "Meh" ....sry NO!, not good enough This team is deep at almost every position, can't let QB hold them back from going deep into playoffs. Now, it is not as bad as it appears, in my opinion, but if QB holds them back, the front office will have to answer to that! Cassel was brought in as a safety net to make sure we have at least "adequate" QB play, so in other words "meh" Now that might be ok, or enough, but..... I think everyone here wants one of the young guys to just have that light turn on, and make it something fantastic, .... Let's see how it plays out.
  18. Maybe Harvin could take some reps at QB also. Hey, you never know.
  19. yeah, not much here, too dark? http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/bills-o-line-coach-claims-self-defense-kids-threatened-him/ar-AAcUGNa
