I actually still get D&C delivery. Last month they actually raised my price and forced me to get web access. I might be old fashioned, but still like reading paper (at least on weekends). Sometimes you stumble across things you wouldn't find on the net unless you know to look. Not real happy about the increase!

Great! So smith is eating up a roster spot and isn't going to make the field at either position! Maybe the 5th reciever, 3rd QB. I say cut bait and move on. At least use the spot on somebody at least "decent" at either position (preferably a QB that at least has a shot to be groomed for at least back-up or something useful!)

Oh, how I yearn for the old days of the "Empire Sports Network". At least there was always Buffalo news, Sabres, Bills, and even a few other locals mixed in. I could get my "fix" almost anytime! Good ol' Regis that all up. (unless there is still some version I can't get anymore) I used to love NFL network, But just can't even look at Michael Irvin, a little too Biased for NFC east.It's getting hard to watch. Like said earlier, even Brownies , Fins, an such are getting coverage, just don't get it.

As much as I dont expect it, I hope it's Merriman. I dont see any of the others having as big of an impact as a healthy, even 75% of what he used to be. I see them being solid across the board, barring any injuries, great D-line,D-backs,offense,(yeah line acceptable). But if Merriman can be added as a threat as a pass rusher, he could turn the defense into something special! To quote Bart Scott - "CAN'T WAIT"

I liked this signing since it happened, and the more I see the better. Seems to have a high motor, and a lot of passion to finish! If I remember correctly Mario's and his best year were when they were together in Houston.I would like to see that kind of output again. I think he will be a very nice surprise. Maybe better results than Mario. I'm always scared of the guy getting the huge contract. gonna have to wait for season, then just sit back and enjoy!

With what they have put together, I don't know if there is one individual player that is "indispensable". If I had to choose, it would be Darius and/or Kyle Williams If they can keep middle plugged up, rest of defense can hold their own, but if teams can run we are screwed, again!

I think i may be a bit nuts, but I was actually thinking about the no-huddle a while back. Before the season Gailey metioned how well Fitz understood the offence, and how deep the WR's are. I think Fitz might actually be smart enough to run it, and it looks like there is actually a tight end on the team.It might actually help the O-line also, not that they were bad game one..... But that was eons ago, and how many times can they try it thinking that since it's the Bills it will be what it once was? It was great in the 80-90's, and just hearing the words brings a smile to my face, but just let it go! It will never be the same.

I have to trust Gailey knows what hes doing, he seems to systematically work through players to get the correct people on the field. The schedule is looking better as we near the start of the season.
