McDermott took him off punt duty last year because he couldn't be trusted (McDermott's exact words). That speaks volumes when your coach says he doesn't trust you. Everyone has drops or fumbles but his are so frequent now that it's scary to have him involved in the offense.

19 pages that I'm not going to read again but did I see earlier that the visiting team can only use tents if the home team uses them? I would think that anything one team does the other can do. Shouldn't matter if you're the home or visiting team. If this is the case, can we go without heaters in December so they freeze their asses off?

I hope he was mad a himself and not a player. McKenzie screwed up at the end but was beyond exhausted and mistakes like that happen. Calling three straight plays from shotgun at the 1 yard line is on Dorsey. Don't tell me a backup center can't do a direct snap to a quarterback in that situation. Missed a blocking assignment, maybe. Unable to snap a ball to a qb under center means you are not a center at all.

This is the way I see it. When Edmunds isn't in the game, is he missed? Seems like our D played just as well, or better, without him. If we're planning on letting him walk after this year, we might as well try and get a pick for him now. Not sure any team really wants him or his salary this year but it's worth a shot if we can get a 4th rounder or better. Deepest apologies if some of you don't agree with anything I've said.

If we had Andy Reid as our OC and Daboll was KC's head coach, our players would look like KC's players and their players would be underused like ours. The NFL is full of talent, size and speed (not the drug). Really good coaches, coaches that know how to get the most out of that talent, size and speed (not the drug), are hard to come by.

There are only 53 spots on the team. If he's signed that means one less football player on the team. Just get rid of him and get someone that can play football.

....and better coaching above him.

Owners are making more money now than ever before because of the gambling partnerships. Heck, a good portion of the pregame shows is dedicated to gambling. Even though they'd prefer to win, they won't rock the boat if it means they'll be making less money. They are all billionaires first, fans second (maybe not Jerry). Other owners are partners in their business and they are all on the same page.

No game is a gimme. We lost to the Jaguars. I don't think any of our opponents see the game against us as a guaranteed loss. We've slipped up too many times this year to think we're an elite team just going through some struggles. We're a struggling team that has an occasional flash but let's not fool ourselves. We're an average team with an awesome quarterback.

Unless he starts showing that speed of his on special teams, he's a wasted roster spot at any price. A chain is only as strong as it's weakest link and he is the weakest link on our defense.
