  1. Buffalo chicken dip:

One pack of cream cheese, one large can of chicken (found near the canned tuna) and about half a cup of Frank's Red Hot. Mix it all together and bake on 350 until everything is melted and hot. You can add more hot sauce if you want it hotter. Once you start making it you can add other things to it (Jalapenos, shredded cheddar etc). Enjoy!

  2. Pathetic? 20 "friggin years" starts from what, 1989? So you watched every game starting with the very best run in Buffalo Bills history, including all the games during their 4 straight SB's. What a sacrafice. And even after that run ended, from 1994 through 2000, those Bills teams still made the playoffs 4 out of the 7 seasons. So your first 12 of your 20 "friggin" years were pretty damn good overall to have to "suffer through." These last 8 have been extremely awful, for all of us to watch, I will grant you that.

Looking back at my own career as a Bills fan, counting games I had to listen to on the radio that were not sold out, (and I did listen to them), from 1968, the first year I attended a Bills game at the real Rock Pile, through this past Sunday, I have never missed watching any games that I was able to watch or listen to, aside from being away at college or traveling for work reasons years before satalite radio or TV allowed me to listen or watch the Bills from anywhere. I have to estimate I've missed maybe one season's worth in total of Bills games I had no way of watching or listening to, in the past 40 plus seasons as a fan. Pathetic? Not. I love being a fan of the Buffalo Bills. It's been a long amazing run of feeling almost every good emotion and absolutely feeling every bad emotion a football fan could experience. Even typing on this blog is something I enjoy after these horrible loses keep mounting.

All evidence points to the Buffalo Bills moving away from WNY in my lifettime without winning a SB allowing me to feel that last good emotion a football fan can experience. It's still been a great ride, and although the team has been pathetic many times over the years, being a fan has never been, to me!

Lighten up, dinkus. I was saying that I'm pathetic, not the Bills.

  3. I went into what I like to call the "Rob Johnson Coma" where I didn't see a single game he started after the Music City Massacre...or there abouts...its all a blur. I'm just about to that point again, but I can't point to a scapegoat and say "I will not watch another game until ______ is gone" or something to that effect.

But basically, has anything this franchise done driven you to miss season(s) due to pure frustration and disappointment?

I haven't missed a game in twenty years. TWENTY FRIGGIN YEARS!!!!!! How pathetic is that?

  4. If Kelly was ready to retire, then he retired at the right time...

But, I'm sure he could have played a few more years. He was only 36 when he retired. He would have been better - even at his advanced age - then:

    Todd Collins

    Billy Joe Hobert

    Alex V.P.

    Rob Johnson

    etc.

Imagine what he would have been like with Moulds, Price, Reed, Thurman, and even Remiersma (SP?)???

Remember Billie Joey getting cut mid-season for admitting not knowing the playbook when he was called into action...I miss leadership.

  5. Granted, Jauron has had the same style his whole career - but at this point he has to be acutely aware of the extremely strong criticisms being waged against him. What is the possibility he was told explicitly (or at least recognizes himself?) that he should change/improve certain aspects of his coaching - and would he be willing/capable?

Tom Coughlin got to a point where he understood he needed to make changes in order to be successful (and survive) - in his case it was to be less of a taskmaster and more of a 'player's coach'. Is it possible for Jauron to successfully go the other way - become more of a hard ass, be tougher, make players more accountable, practice outside - instill more toughness etc.? Is game day management something he can study and work to make himself better at?

I just can't believe he could think he can keep the same modus operandi at this point(?) - he must think he needs to make some changes, right? Could he do it if he wanted to?

I'm all with you on the practicing outside thing. These guys need to grow a pair before they're rewarded with anything.

  6. Don't trade away our best player. That would be a stupid move and I'm sure Trent Edwards wouldn't appreciate it either. Hell, why not Lock Peters up to a long term deal and build form there?

Let's Trade Lee Evans. WR's are plentiful in the NFL.

We already locked him up with a new deal two years ago. What's to say even if they re-do his deal he won't do this crap again in a couple of years.

  7. Nothing -- if he wins in small claims court. And it only costs about $20 to file. Yes, you'll need his address, but that's it.

Filing in small claims court is really easy too. Just go down, fill out a sheet of paper, and get a court date. If he doesn't show, you win. If he does, the judge hears the case (think "People's Court" - very similar) and makes a decision (usually not that day - you hear the result in the mail).

I'd send an email and see what happens. Getting a statement from the installer who said it was fried is a great idea too, in case it goes to court so you can give that to the judge.

I've been to small claims court once (landlord didn't return a security deposit -- I've posted the story here before) -- it's actually kinda fun when you know that you're 100% right. :)

I would send him a certified letter with your intentions. If you continue to call him he can take out charges against you for harrassment. Keep his information forever. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
