The same could be said for you only predicting one win. As stated before the team has not gotten any worse since last year, so why are we now so bad to only pull off one win? Personally I think playoffs are a stretch, but I'd like to see the Bills pull around .500.

Brohm had a nice bomb to Roscoe during the open practice two weekends ago. Plus when they were doing foot work and throwing at the nets Edwards was having the hardest time hitting the pockets. That right there should tell us that Brohm is the next starter. Obviously I don't believe that and understand everything is speculation at this point, but one can wish.

Going by what was seen last year from Lynch any free agent or our rookie Bell can fill Lynch's shoes as the third back. All I saw last year was him running straight into our O-Line, or crab walking his way to the sideline for no gain. I would love nothing more then Lynch to get back to his previous form, but at this point it is best to part ways for both Lynch and the Bills.

How is that any different then last year? All of your issues were around last year, except for #4 which I actually see as a positive. So the only negative I see this year is a the new defensive scheme might hurt the team for a little while. Other then that we are in the same if not slightly better boat then last year. I'm not saying we will pull off another 6 wins, but I just don't see how we are all of a sudden the worst team.

I'd love to see Roosevelt make the team. Not that it means too much but Roosevelt had a couple nice catches during Saturday's open practice.

I was only 11 years old in 1991 so I have really enjoyed watching the 90's Bills on NFL Network this week. I was too young to really understand how stacked with talent that team was. Truly a thing of beauty and I can only fathom seeing another Bills team with such a powerful offense and defense.

Do what now? It became apparent after the first few games that Trent was not the 2008 Trent and all the checkdown stuff started. At that point I wanted to see Fitz just to see something different. Trent fanboys have used the OLine as an excuse ever since his benching. Which is invalid due to the fact that Fitz was able to avoid pressure and release the football. Hence the canned response on 100's of edwards vs fitz threads. At no point did I root against Edwards (or do I see what context gave you that idea) I just got tired of watching Trent dump the ball of on 3rd and long to our the RB who would get smacked immediately. Do you now feel awesome??

Lol yah it is kind of a canned response anymore, we have been beating this dead horse named Edwards since early season last year. The fact he appears to be the front runner for our QB utterly blows my mind. Just have to wait and see, maybe Chan will find a set for Edwards and he'll improve, but I doubt that.

Fitz didn't seem to have any issues getting the ball down the field, to the sidelines, and to targets other then the RB. Granted they were ugly, but he was able to throw the ball and avoid sacks. So we can blame the Oline to an extent but it still comes back to Edwards refusal or inability to do much of anything besides checkdown or get sacked.

I'm with you there. I agree to some extent to what CC is saying, but I am not going to start bandwagon jumping to the flavor of the week year after year. How hard is it to root for the team that is winning. Not very hard at all.

Yes a QB rating is a great barometer of a young QB on a new team with 1 week of first team reps. Really he is on par with Edwards who had a 51 rating at MIA, then followed up with a stellar 52 at home against Cleveland.

I am not upset with the offseason/draft, I am actually optimistic we may be starting to right this ship. I so want the season to start, but I really don't want to wish away summer either.

Well if we use stats from one game to say that Brohm is no where near starting material then I can use one game performance to show that Edwards is no where near starting material. That is what I was getting at, I'm not going to completely break down both games and find excuses either way.

Ok so Brohm was on the team for a couple weeks, only had 1 week of first team reps in practice. What would you expect to see from him? How about 16 out of 31 for 152 yards and 1 interception? Those are Trent's stats against the Browns last year.....pretty darn similar except Trent has been a starter in the league 2 years and has no excuse especially being it was the frigging Browns.

I think everyone loves him because he is NOT Edwards or Fitz. That is why I'm hoping he will pan out this season. The Edwards experiment needs to end, and Fitz bless his heart throws the ugliest football known to man.
