  1. I didn't see this out there, but I agree with Schlereth. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5706315&categoryid=2378529
  2. Joe is more like a twin to Bert. http://www.electrobertjones.com/projects/sas/JoeFlacco.png
  3. I gotcha the history of questionable contract extensions will cause that.
  4. Haha one can only hope.... I agree you have to take his stats with a grain of salt, but I think you're discrediting him too much. Regardless how many other young players on the team are making any kinda of impact? Take away half his touchdowns and he still has more then Lee Evans our million dollar man. I look at it as a bright spot in a dismal season, but by no means am declaring him the next coming of Jerry Rice.
  5. He is starting to show some promise. Fitz and Stevie certainly have some chemistry going and it is at least something to feel good about this season so far.
  6. I'd say Kyle is one of the few effective defenders we have on the line. His lack of size may reduce his effectiveness at the nose position, but it certainly isn't from his lack of trying. I agree that Donte is the only player out there laying down big hits, everyone gets down on him, but I think he is playing fine. Here is the game plan to beat the bills.....misdirection running plays, and short passes to the flat, which is generally the tight end. Second (maybe 3rd) game in a row we've been exploited by those types of plays.
  7. Some guys were wearing their paper bags down below me and it ended up with a near brawl in my section. The paper bag guys got kicked out I believe. I have no issue with people wanting to show their distaste for the bills, by all means, but this kinda back fired with Bills fans getting into it.
  8. Haha, good point. To late though we already got rid of him.
  9. Well he certainly started us down the road to the #1 overall pick by absolutely sucking it up in game 1 and 2. If we lose come Sunday it will be because MJD ran for 215 yards and 3 touchdowns.
  10. It is where I will be.
  11. I'm with you, Evans deserves a chance to play on a real NFL offense. I think another draft pick would benefit the team more at this stage. Logic would state the more picks we have the better chance our front office will mess up and actually make a solid draft pick.
  12. I think right now Carolina is our biggest competition for last place in the 2010 NFL season. Detroit, Cleveland, and Oakland all seem to be somewhat moving forward. I think San Francisco is a dark horse though, because despite all the frigging talent on that team they still manage to lose games with ease.
  13. Pittsburgh was sold out before the season started.
  14. Don't forget the "Brohm hasn't thrown a TD in preseason" argument.
  15. I am with you on the NOT trading Marshawn. He is a solid back with youth on his side, and the 1-2 punch of Lynch in Spiller would be solid for many years. I love Fred Jackson, but to me it makes more sense to move him along due to his age. I don't know how I would feel with Orton as our QB.
  16. You realize this may be the one thread in the entire existence of TBD where everyone is in agreement.
  17. I thought I heard a few weeks ago several interviews where Jim Kelly said he has a group ready to purchase and keep the team in Buffalo once the opportunity arises. Granted nothing is guaranteed.
  18. Um.....I think the point of his post is that Coy regardless of talent spent time in two different football organizations. He has an inside perspective that we fans would have zero idea about. Really though it only seems to validate what most of us think about the Bills ownership.
  19. If this is a rebuilding year with a new staff, then the personnel changes seem to make sense to me. Only way to evaluate the talent is to see it in live game action (see Edwards), as we've seen with Maybin lately. This is his audition to keep a job next year. That being said I don't think that everything we've seen so far is all just some master plan...they aren't that good.
  20. So i'm a bad fan because in my opinion what Stevie did not seem that excessive? Well holier then though, thanks for setting my moral standards straight.
  21. The penalty was completely inconsequential to the outcome of the game. Could it have cost us, sure, but it didn't. I gave him a pass, because when was the last time a bills receiver had an reason to celebrate?
  22. His play certainly is "special"....
  23. Yes he was 3 yards short of the elusive 300 yard game. I expected the offense to be better today, but I didn't expect that much improvement. At least I got to see an exciting football game where we had a chance of winning it. Oddly satisfied with today's game regardless of the fact we lost.
  24. Not a bad theory at all, and certainly explains the Jauron corpse like appearance.
  25. Quite odd how nonchalant Wade is with the ineptness of his kicker. Pretty black and white to me, if the guy misses all them in practice and blows it in games then maybe you need to find someone else.
