  1. Love the nickname whoever came up with it a few weeks ago, and love the song.
  2. After all his is only a career backup at best.
  3. I'll be there, but with 9 Steelers fans in tow....My inlaws are Steelers fans.
  4. I understand the "why so serious" quote is from the joker in the recent batman movie, but I didn't get the whole batman and robin play he had going there until I read this thread. Very creative, but not too flashy celebration, I really like it.
  5. When I saw that play I too said WTF. I rewound the DVR and rewatched that play and to me that looked like a fumble. I don't get why the announcers didn't say anything about that. I like the no call on Evans in the endzone when the defender was not even looking at the ball. Exact same play on Poz they call him for interference as they should. There was some horrible officiating today, but at least we overcame it and pulled out the win.
  6. I want one for the Steelers game! It would double as a face warmer as well. Too bad I don't have a Fitz jersey to complete the look.
  7. There is a picture out there that compares his neck size from college to his current massive neck. It was quite a transition. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/95254-paul-posluszny-neck/ There was a link in there, but that doesn't work....and no luck with Google searches.
  8. The wife and I will be there section 221.
  9. Is this football or Days of our Lives? So Pennington left the facility and took his dog to the groomer, giving Sparano and Henne a chance to talk.
  10. There was ZERO risk in picking up Merriman other then Ralph is out a little money. We are out nothing by him being busted up after 2 practices.
  11. I like the idea, but I just don't think I can take 4 more 0-16 seasons.
  12. The funny thing is if you go over to his website (http://www.aaronmaybin.com/) he has a "highlight" reel. It is like him hitting the QB after the ball is gone, or him missing the original tackle then chasing them down 4 yards further down the field.
  13. I know we ran the wildcat with some success in our first few games, but have we ran it since?
  14. I would check out this thread http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/122972-bills-vs-lions-prediction-thread/
  15. That made me laugh out loud.
  16. Fitz just isn't the guy who can do it all the time on his own. He needs somebody to step up come crunch-time, which hasn't been happening. Fitz is the only reason we are in these last few games. It is funny I saw Ben Rapelishburger "choke" by throwing an int last night when the Steelers were winning and in control of the game. The only difference there was his Defense stood up and gave them the win.
  17. With hindsight I think I'd be happy with Fewell as the HC, if they brought in a good offensive coordinator (like Gailey). That being said I was like you and wanted the big name coach, so i would have been disappointed that they stuck with Fewell.
  18. The line certainly looks better in pass protection, but the last two weeks were not helping our RBs at all. Very few running lanes and a lot of contact behind the line of scrimmage. We also were playing two stout running defenses so I don't know.
  19. True but they are used to playing 4-3 LBs, not 3-4, so he may be able to mentor our vets. We do have youth in Moates, and Maybin who hopefully can learn some things as well. That being said I don't know much about Merriman as far as if he is that type of guy who will take a leadership/mentor type roll and share his experience with the rest of the guys.
  20. As I stated in my original post "I know this doesn't mean anything," but I thought we could all get a good chuckle out of it. Why so serious?
  21. I know it doesn't mean anything at all, but we are no longer ranked dead last. Extra gratifying as it is the Cowgirls below the Bills. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/don_banks/11/03/nfl-power-rankings-week-9-3/index.html
  22. Correction Kelsay will lay down 2 key blocks on his own teammates allowing for Forte to rush for two 30 yard TDs.
  23. I agree mostly, but the reason the Bears/Cutler have been turn over machines is because teams have pounded him with pressure. I am not sure even with 14 step drops that we will get much pass rush to force the turnovers. Also the Bears Defense is something to fear...Peppers anyone. We have a chance though and if the Bills continue to play hard and cut down on the turnovers it may go our way.
  24. That is a very good point. I think we would like to meet at a happy medium where you aren't super conservative, yet not extremely brazen.
