  1. One of these two things is true. Lighten up, Ken. It's all fun, and there are some slick quips there. It's not all targeted at AR either - there's some "burn" on the Pack D vs Deebo Samuel and stuff. When a guy sets himself up publicly, he really ought to be prepared to "stand the roast" for it.
  2. This is nonsense. You even contradict it yourself. If your offense scores 10 points, and the opponent scores 9, you win. Are you going to say "your offense lost you the game" in those circs, when you won? So which is it? Is winning all that matters, or "when you score 10 points, your offense lost you the game"? You can't have it both ways. If you want to place blame for losing, than having the punt blocked and gifting the 49ers a ST TD that tied the game and allowed them to win in the final seconds with a FG would probably be the proximate cause of the loss. But obviously they wouldn't be in that position if the rest of the team played better all game. GB ST has been problematic all year, and acting on Beane's dictum that your final game highlights your biggest problems, ST was "it" for GB.
  3. That one is not on Adams. Rodgers had an uncovered receiver running free across the middle of the field at the 45 yd line. Edit: #13, Allen Lazard. Lazard had 1 catch on 1 target in the game. On the season, 40 receptions on 60 targets (66.7% catch) and 1 drop. On the L, #19 (St Brown) had a step on his guy. It was 3rd and 11 on the GB 28, so either one of those guys gets the first down. Throwing to a double-covered Davante Adams on that play was Nutz. Bad decision making - on Rodgers, and if the receiver running free couldn't be trusted to catch the ball, on the Packers for supplying "Davante Adams and who else?" at WR. Bad decision by Rodgers. There was plenty of time left at that point, more than 3 minutes. Did Rodgers actually say this? Did he actually blame Bojo? Because he should apportion blame with a mirror if so. It's not all on AR, but he is the star, and he needs to own his share.
  4. I mean there's a lot of that "you (do this) and you deserve to lose" floating around that game Jimmy Garoppolo was 11/19 for 131 yds with 0 TD and 1 INT. That's a stat line in the playoffs where you deserve to lose. Packers RB Aaron Jones inexplicably veered *towards* a defender where arguably if he had put his head down and tried to turn on the afterburners he could have scored another TD. The defense gets paid too, and the 49ers have a top-10 defense both for points, and for NY/A passing. They're like 6th in the league for sacks. The Packers had more yards, more TOP, more 1st downs, more 3rd down conversions and better 3rd down conversion %, more yards per play, equal penalties and fewer penalty yards. But all these things were very close. TO were equal, except for the blocked punt. In the end, the 49ers made a few more completions/runs when they needed to, and the Pack had a few more bad plays - including the 2 on ST.
  5. When you're right, you're right To exculpate Rodgers a bit, he did not have a lot of open targets downfield and he found TE downfield a few times and they didn't haul it in. SF D played well, but I loathed and hated to see Garappolo win that. Even Aikman was commenting on how many dangerous throws that should have been intercepted Jimmy was making.
  6. Well....we're pinning it on 2 plays, the blocked punt, the blocked FG But to be fair, was the blocked FG on Bojo's hold? Was it really a muffed hold? I honestly couldn't tell from the broadcast. I saw a defender coming unblocked. And I put the blocked punt on the blocking as well. Frankly, the Packers just didn't play well across the board last night. It's very telling that at some point early in the 2nd half, Aikman commented that Rodgers had yet to target a WR not named "Adams", and their TE were NOT helping him out. This is not to absolve Bojo, but he was only part of a team-wide problem
  7. Man, that was rough. There was an early play where Chubb ripped off a big run and fumbled - and the ball went right to his teammate who fell on it. I said right then, "gonna be a long day for the Thumbtacks"
  8. I see you understand your duty here. It's a hard job, but you must sacrifice.
  9. It's clear from the seeding. Bengals are seeded lower. Bills win, and the AFCCG is in Orchard Park.
  10. Blasphemy. Isaiah McKenzie needs to stay Isaiah McKenzie
  11. Really dumb facemask penalty
  12. SF figuring out how to play: 1) give ball to Samuel 2) go
  13. “Laces Out, Bojo!” Though I don’t think that block was his fault
  14. Imitation is the sincerest form….
  15. See above. Rodgers reads: 1) where’s Davante? 2) let er rip 49ers defense: 1) where’s Davante? 2) double him
  16. Packers seem to have gotten the memo “Double Davante Adams”
  17. I thought it met the letter of the current rule. He caught the ball, got both feet down, and made a football move (started to turn).
  18. Every time I see a cheese head now I hear “I’m a Chicken Wing! I’m a *****in’ Chicken Wing!” In my mind Just me?
  19. Who could not like Davante Adams?
  20. Next pass they were likely it wasn’t picked
  21. Eeeeeeeew, I did NOT need that visual. May a cat barf on your pillowcase as the moon rises.
