Didn’t see this upthread Aint it a shame Just after he acknowledged that refs let him get away with a lot of unsportsmanlike conduct too https://www.sportscasting.com/tom-brady-admits-nfl-referees-let-get-away-more-other-qbs-im-kind-of-a-pain/ -
Bojo cost the Packers the game...Beane was right?

My point is, he took a risky interceptable pass to a double-covered WR over a much safer crossing route to a guy who had miles of turf (relatively speaking) around him. So maybe Rodgers risk-aversion is being mis-stated and mis-remembered here Bojo wanted to be paid like the best punter in the league because he led the league in punting yards and he felt he deserved “hazard money” for playing in WNY. He was not so great on pinning people deep vs touchbacks, and he was dodgy as a holder, but he didn’t consider that. He wound up signing with LA and wagering he’d outduel Hekker, only to be traded to the “Frozen Tundra” -

The thing is....last year in the NFCCG, Brady threw three (3) picks and completed 55% of his passes. If ever a QB played like he shoulda lost, he was that guy except GB played worse Then he went to the SB and played like his jock was on fire and passing would put it out, 74% completions 3 TD 0 INTs -

I dunno, that seems to be selective memory. Guy has 18 comebacks and 27 GWD, including 2 postseason GWD and a comeback (2014, 2016), both years GB contended for the conference championship. He made some breathtaking, game-saving risky throws at times Again, that seems to be some sort of Monday morning analysis. Favre and Rodgers have the same # of SB wins with GB - 1 Rodgers 5 conf. championship appearances to Favre 4, Favre 2 conf. championships vs Rodgers 1 At the time Favre was playing for GB, it was a common point of criticism that he would "throw the game away" by taking those risky throws. We're not on the practice field with Lazard and Cobb and St Brown and that TE trio to know how much they deserve or don't deserve Rodgers trust Rodgers passed up what looked like a clean shot to St Brown or Lazard on 3rd down in favor of a risky, interceptable throw to a double-covered Adams last night. -

?????? KC D is #8 on points #5 for TO #26 for pass NY/A #31 for rush Y/A #24 for first downs given up #27 for yards given up The Patriots are the #2 ranked D for points, we faced them 3x The Saints are #4, beat them in prime-time on Thanksgiving Tampa and Titans are #5 and #5 for points, we lost to both but in OT and down to the last play of the game (could have done OT) Oh yeah, and we beat them too.... I can understand feeling their D is more competitive now than it was in week 5 so they have a better chance But I can't understand the confidence "this will be a blow-out" Well except that a few here feel that way, I guess there are always people who are delusional -

From what I can see from the broadcast, Rodgers threw Adams a "hospital ball" into double coverage where Adams was going to get "lumbered" immediately if he caught it. -

Right "To whom much is given, much is expected" We venerate top athletes. They get big commercial endorsements, a big platform for whatever charitable causes (or causes in general) they espouse, big money from their sport. In return, fans expect clutch performance. When they don't get it, Bombs Away. Oh, Come On. Any humiliating in that game, Rodgers did to himself. He missed some reads for what should have been easy completions. -

To your point 2): In fact, I would go so far as to say that there was a general feeling of sadness when Brees career ended the way it did, with a splutter. Peyton Manning won his last 4 career games, ending with the SB. I seem to recall that he took some flack at the time, because his play as a QB arguably didn't contribute as it should, but most people seemed to acknowledge it as a fit ending for a great player who arguably got stuck with some bad teams. To your point 1): Agreed. I found some of those very entertaining and for the most part, light-hearted roasting and not mean-spirited.
