  1. Terrell Edmunds is a free agent Trey signed a 1 year minimum deal and is no lock to make the team
  2. The minute Schoen was hired, a seeing eye dog could have predicted Daboll to the Giants Edit the title please, it looks as though an actual trade may be in the works instead of a dude spitballing
  3. [This is an automated response] The topic title is potentially misleading. Accurate titles help the community find topics relevant to their interests and avoids reader frustration. Please change the topic title to more accurately reflect content of the original post. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate. Thank you.
  4. As far as I can tell, this account is "just a guy with a Twitter"
  5. Wentz did have low interceptions overall, but he had 2 - 2 INT games and 2- 1 INT games that were all losses Colts win 2 of those 4 games and they're 11-6 and go to the playoffs 🤷‍♂️
  6. He's a married man now and expecting a child with his wife Better channel the fun
  7. That's a really good question. I assumed it was the first day of the new league year, but I don't really know and a quick google search turned up what the tag values are, but not what the deadline is. Anyone? @YoloinOhio?
  8. There had been some prior strangenesses - remember that busted play where Bojo seemed to think it would be a fake punt or fake FG (I forget which) and tried to pass, while everyone else on the field thought it was just a regular punt or FG kick? Then there was the blocked punt in the Patriots game where the Patriots adjusted and we didn't, leaving a guy un-blocked But even if he felt Farwell and the system/details were at fault in both instances, they would logically be an instance of "working the problem" and getting it fixed, not "off with his head" immediately.
  9. a bit resurrectionist, but this seems to be a good summary of various pundits 1st round picks for the Bills after the Combine https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2022/03/07/buffalo-bills-mock-draft-roundup-several-positions-devonte-wyatt-andrew-booth-jahan-dotson/9389988002/ All over the position map - CB, WR, edge, DT, OL
  10. So let me get this straight.... You think Edmunds sucks as a player. You also think another team will trade us a 1st round pick on a $12M 1 year rental - for a guy who according to you, is demonstrated to suck as a player. I know I shouldn't respond, but the mind of a troll is fascinating at times.
  11. More than one thing can be true? Bills have no cap at present. In fact we have negative cap, $-3.9M A number of moves, including re-signing a couple players, asking a couple players to renegotiate, trading, and cutting player, could be anticipated to result in substantial cap for FA - IF they go through
  12. I don't think he fits the bill for "already released", but of course if he's careful nothing stops him from bumping into Beane and expressing how he'd love to play for a QB like Josh Allen, or stops his agent from scheduling a meeting to discuss other clients who are playing for the Bills or potential trade targets of the Bills *nudge nudge*
  13. So Dolphins owner Steven Ross and the arge gallolup of doubt introduced by Flores lawsuit will get what from the league?
  14. We owe you nothing even if this happens because "even a busted clock is right twice a day". We've explained why we don't think the absolute certainty of your op title "not coming back" believable. We all know that Phillips may go elsewhere. We all know that agents and FO guys talk. It's entirely possible Harry's agents have a number from the Bills and have had informal spitball chats over drinks with FO from various teams that are enough higher that he's pretty sure the Bills won't match, but plausible deniability is important to these talks, and so there's a lot of details that might not prove out when he actually sees the final written contract. We also get a lot of guys who come in asserting some kind of inside knowledge that doesn't prove out. "Met Phillips best friend when he was drunk in a bar and he showed me texts proving this" is a relatively weak-sauce story.
  15. They need to do something. I'd be surprised if they don't at least want Bates and Zimmer, who are RFA. They're at -$3.9M in cap space currently. They can't even open the league year and do nothing without some moves. My thinking is that as usual with Beane, he is gliding serenely across the surface of the combine water while underneath the surface, his little feet are paddling like hell to get somewhere
  16. Just to be clear here, the "Thinking must be an already released FA" seems to be Thad Brown's addition. The MMQB blurb says this:
  17. I admit, I'm intentionally ignorant about gambling. But with the NFL pushing it, isn't it pretty likely that coaches, players, and referees may in fact be betting on games, with the smart ones who don't get caught being careful about placing their bets through family members or trusted friends rather than personally? In which case, what Ridley is being suspended for, is being stupid? This is essentially what I am asking - how is this evidence that Ridley is engaging in conduct uniquely detrimental to the league, vs. being uniquely stupid about how he places bets?
  18. Minnesota was coming off a tough loss in the 2017 conference championship with Case Keenum at QB. They had just made a big splash signing of Cousins in the off-season and were expected to be the "IT" team, so they got the coverage
  19. Yeah, that happens to me a lot too, stuff other people get all excited over sometimes I'm "huh? why?"
  20. Ryan Fitzpatrick jumping up and down in Jersey 10 is a nice touch It's the offseason, and it's fun. But I changed the title to let people like yourself "see and avoid". And you never know, maybe they threw out the pizza boxes and beer cans and loaded the dishwasher before they made that.
  21. Looks like there's some coverage of it here: https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2022/03/nfl-rumors-dont-rule-out-big-splash-move-for-buffalo-bills-says-nfl-insider.html That's such lazy, poor journalism. One member of the press speculates something, and gets cited as a source "reporting" it elsewhere The speculation is Gronkowski And again, the "source" is a speculating reporter.
  22. You’re omitting important qualifiers …. Independent sources with direct knowledge of the events…. I said what I said. It doesn’t equate to saying either 1) Donne is lying or 2) Dunne is making up sources, but it doesn’t equate to sources with direct personal knowledge, either. We now return you to your regular ass laughing off sessions, Go For It.
  23. I'm a little confused about this. When did Dorsey coach under Rob Chudzinski in Carolina? Chudzinski was the OC in Carolina in 2011 and 2012, but Dorsey was not a coaching assistant then - he was hired as a pro scout. Dorsey was QB coach in Carolina from 2013-2017, a year in a college position, then came to the Bills as QB coach in 2019. Mike Shula was the OC in Carolina from 2013-2017 So IMHO if you want to look at coaching influences on Dorsey, it makes at least as much, if not more, sense to look at Mike Shula and Brian Daboll as to look at Chudzinski. Dorsey does have a Chudzinski connection in the NFL because he was on the Browns roster as a QB from 2006-2008, when Chudzinski was OC of the Browns 2007-2008. But he never coached under Chud in Carolina (that I can figure out) Other OCs Dorsey played under as an NFL QB are quite a motley crew: Greg Knapp, Ted Tellow, Mike McCarthy, Maurice Carthon, and Jeff Davidson. It would actually be a cool article to have an interview with Dorsey about his playing and previous coaching career and get a feel for who he names as significant influences. But I'd look at Shula, since that's who Dorsey was working with when he 'cut his teeth' as an NFL coach.
