Thanks. Any chance you could point me at the info on this decision? I think muscle is needed, not just a big fat blob

Are we for sure that there's no "opt out"?

So Von Miller stays in Pittsburgh. https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/2134798 has a pretty good breakdown of some "names" I thought DL Of that list, I'm most interested in Casey and Alualu. I've liked Alualu when he was drafted. A torn triceps seems like something one can return from more easily. I don't trust comebacks from Achilles and while we need run-stuffing, we need pass rush too. Edge At 6'1", 235 I don't think Reddick nor Ingram at 6'2", 247 fits the profile of what Frazier and McDermott look for on DL but maybe they should change their profile. At 6'3" 270, Justin Houston could fit it better. Dunlap I suppose, or Kerrigan although a guy who is particular about how he's used vs. "I'll do whatever to help the team win" doesn't sound "process" to me.

Who the hell is Tyrone? -
Tackles still matter. Did anyone listen carefully to the full Jon Feliciano media availability yesterday? Not the fluff stuff where he was asked where he was and reached down for an open beer with a lime, took a healthy swig, then said "South Florida" or where he described how he Ghosted Josh Allen with the news. The part where he talked about what the OL has to do better: "we have extremely gifted people on the outside, so they make up for small things that we weren't so good at. We've got to just keep working on the small things and have an understanding that it's a completely new season. What we did last year was nice and all, but it was for naught, because we didn't finish the job" A strong interior is great and all, but you still need tackles.

John Ross as WR replacement for JohnBrown

True. But a guy who's been in the league 3 years and his best year is 50% catches for 500 yds is the equivalent of the Bills taking a risk on Mitch Trubisky (or Case Keenum) as their franchise man. I think that may be where Beane is still. -

It's not entirely Beane/McDermott. Seeing Tom Brady and Gronk win the Superbowl with a new team had the most to do with it I wager. It all still goes with the QB though. No Joke, Belicheck has made some impressive additions Historically "Buying a team" of high-priced FA to put together has not necessarily worked very well for a number of teams who tried it. And it still all depends upon who the QB is. But I give him props, Belicheck is doing a good job of bringing in the players. -

He does I guess I have PTSD about the Bills medical ability to correctly identify guys with problematic injury pre-signing (See Listenbee, Woods) Aren't they all freak injuries? As far as Zimmer, if Diggs will say "don't piss on me and tell me it's raining" to one aspect, it seems possible to me that it might be a pattern. As far as surgery, I guess I'm old-fashioned but when a guy requires surgery for something involving his neck and spine, it seems to me that it might be time to step aside from a job description of "smash into 300 lb behemoths or have them smash into me in an uncontrolled fashion approximately 1,000x/year I know I know, I asked, several of you answered 😬

Actually I find Twitter pretty much like other media, you have to choose whose feed you look at If you look at legit media guys with sources, it's useful. I wonder if this guy has heard the joke about the woman who's been married 4 times and says on her wedding nite to the 4th "be gentle with me, I'm a virgin!"
