  1. 49ers apparently not persuaded "Wrong Josh" is the "Right" for the backup job
  2. Perhaps Trubisky thought no one is going to give him a chance at a good situation, and if he goes into a questionable situation and doesn't put up good numbers he's likely done as a starter. With all the "QB Chaos" in the league I honestly thought someone would give him a shot.
  3. Could be naive of me, but Yes, I do. I honestly think that these guys believe if there's a choice between showing the respect to let a valued team member know the team is moving on directly and in person vs. making a group of reporters wait, them reporters gonna be asked to wait.
  4. He really does. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought so.
  5. So as for 1., clearly that's an unmet need 2. I don't agree that Brown out, Sanders in is no net gain. Brown may be faster, but can get canceled by physical corner play. Sanders is a Beast. He's actually about the same size but he'll go after it. I also think Brown struggled with the route options concepts in our playbook - even in his 2nd year in Dabs system there were a handful of miscues - whereas Sanders cut his teeth with secondary route concepts with June Jones in college. But for sure, I'd have liked to see more done on offense. 3. As far as home field advantage - I think Trubisky was a reaction to that. I think Josh's shoulder was really bothering him after LV and would have healed faster with a week or 2 off, but that they really didn't want to start Barkley. I think they figure if he could win 50% of 2 games there instead of racking up the "L" to both Tenn, KC we'd be better off.
  6. Yes, you can talk about players under contract who have been given permission to seek a trade.
  7. Ertz was given permission to seek a trade by the Eagles, so it's legit for other teams to discuss. Would still be a waste of time asking questions that won't be answered
  8. Whoa, that ain't good!
  9. He's just a dude, though he's part of the Cover1 crew. I believe he's their capologist dude.
  10. This topic didn't contribute positively to the community in yesterday's locked thread and the prognosis for this thread is similar. Thank you. (and please use the ***** search function before starting threads)
  11. Makes me wonder if the Pegula jet really was in Chicago for a chance to talk with Trubisky.
  12. I did NOT see that coming.
  13. This. Especially as we are very short on cap.
  14. The Bucs just extended Brate so I'm assuming that means they want to keep him. I'm not seeing the Howard love...as a former pick #19 overall, has he lived up to that? and he's coming back from an Achilles, which is always worrisome.
  15. I think the GM/HC had a "start of the new League year" presser planned anyway
  16. 🤷‍♂️ I don't know how plugged in it was but there was stuff on various twitter accounts from Eagles folks (fans? writers? dunno) about wanting a 3rd for him. Which I think is too high
  17. Marcel L-J thinks that's possible
  18. I agree with really liking Samuel and thinking he'd be good on the Bills. Apparently the Bills just have it on for Sanders, also agree his age makes him a risk. But Lofton. But Fitzgerald. What I want to bring up though, is, what's your take on Isaiah McKenzie? I thought he really came on in both route running and pass catching when he got a chance last year, as well as apparently being a good "team guy" in turning his hand to "whatever". He's got some talent apparently, and a big work ethic. Do you think the Bills should try to bring him back, or no? Until when? Edit: nvm, saw it
  19. I haven't seen enough Saints to have an opinion on his blocking, but I thought he'd be a good "get" for us. Who else is left out there?
