  1. Would make sense but where? I didn't see him. I'm pretty sure this is in Josh's OP home btw.
  2. Davis Webb Trubisky Harry Fromm Josh Allen (c'mon man how could you miss him? It's a birthday party for Josh!) Tanner Gentry Jake Hollister Taron Johnson Tre Edmunds? not sure - is that Zack Moss? (Pretty sure I saw his girl in the cluster of ladies between Knox and Isaiah) not sure - lineman- is it Ryan Bates? Nate Becker Knox Isaiah Hodgins He's absolutely in there. He's the guy in the white t-shirt with the backwards ball cap, sitting between Britt Williams and the bearded guy. If you go to D-Dawk's Instagram jerzeystar, you can see a short clip of Josh having Happy Birthday sung to him (not sure who is sitting on his R in that clip tho) - is it Gabe Davis? I'm not 100% but pretty sure I saw Cole Beasley's wife there
  3. She was hired as an offensive assistant. While duties vary, a lot of times these are the folks who scout the next opponent for tendencies, self-scout our team for tendencies, and basically slice and dice film. It’s more an endurance and attention to detail kind of job than coaching players on the field, though may prepares scouting reports or film paste-ups players will utilize
  4. Don't know about Sanders. Diggs trains like a total SOB at House of Athlete and Receiver Factory. If he comes to Orchard Park just for Phase I or II, he might have to slow down? It's not like he can run routes and catch passes
  5. The point is, even without this signing (I don’t know if Hester is a 1T or not), Star would be expected to share snaps with the other 1TDT who is already on the roster, as well as probably with Vernon Butler who played there some last year. We already have another 1TDT on the roster besides Star, as well as a guy who saw time there.
  6. OTAs don’t start until next week? So we don’t know. Right now I think McKenzie, Diggs, Sanders, and Hughes are not in B’lo but that’s not to say they don’t plan to fly in before Monday.
  7. Star does not take all the 1-Tech reps
  8. Interesting points. Let me toss some thoughts back atcha, no big planned argument, just thoughts. At WR and CB, one viewpoint is you need a star (maybe 2 starts at WR) and then capable guys. We have a guy the Bills regard as a star at CB. Still, they could use more depth at “capable guys”, especially with no one behind Norman. Dane Jackson saw playing time because Norman and Wallace were hurt. If the roster is White, Wallace and Jackson, who sees playing time if one of them gets hurt? I could be wrong but I don’t think we’re done at CB. Or, it could be CB is a position at which they have the most faith in their pro personnel evaluation. Did we really pursue WR aggressively the last two seasons? We pursued Diggs aggressively (see above viewpoint “you need a star”). I guess you might say we pursued Beasley and Brown aggressively. Sanders was our most expensive FA signing in a year with tight money. But after that, our WR acquisitions are ....underwhelming in terms of resources. 4th round pick on Davis, 6th round pick on Stevenson, Powell as a potential KR/PR, bunch a’ JAGs. Still, we’ve put a lot of resources in at WR, so OK. My viewpoint on OLmen is that we’re throwing a lot of minor acquisitions at the wall to see what sticks. We’re not “aggressively pursuing” the top linemen like Thuney etc. Instead we’re going for the white and blue porcelain bowl at the yard sale and hoping it turns out to be a valuable Chinese dynastic antique. OK that’s not the greatest analogy, but work with me here. We’re sort of doing the same thing at DE. We need pass rush, we decided not to put all the chips in on signing an expensive FA. Instead we’re going the low budget route and hoping if we take enough swings, we hit a couple times. I guess my bottom line is that I’m not entirely sure volume of signings equates with perceived needs.
  9. High probability Josh is in town. At least, his girlfriend is posting local photos/videos in her Instagram feed, including a walk on Tues. that is a path near their house and one of an early birthday dinner for Josh done by the personal chef that Diggs and some other Bills use (ChefDarianBryan). The Bills OTAs don't start until 5/24.
  10. I think Wallace improved. But after the first few games (I think it may have been Miami), I remember a press question about the opposing QB "picking on" Wallace, and Frazier responding essentially that Levi needs to make a play, and then they'll stop picking on him. He kind of looked like a liability at that point. After the Rams game, he only played 6 snaps then went on IR. The last 4 games and the 3 playoff games, they platooned him quite a bit which doesn't argue happiness with his contributions. I thought he played better when he was sharing snaps, actually.
  11. Mahomes was doing more than "reading" Edmunds. He was using his eyes to manipulate Edmunds and Milano, then throwing the ball into the gaps where they weren't. This may be one of the places McDermott means when he said they were "outcoached" during the AFCCG - that Bienemy and Mahomes were able to decode the Bills defense so well that they knew just what to do to manipulate the coverage. But he was able to do it, in large part, because he had time and was not under particular duress.
  12. It was on a couple of the guy’s Insta stories. Yolo posted a couple links in the thread discussing it, but they might not work since the Insta stories expired (as they do) Thread discussing it: Here's a story on it https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/05/07/mitchell-trubisky-working-out-buffalo-bills-isaiah-mckenzie-gabriel-davis-dion-dawkins/
  13. Not only that...but if there's a tie between their #1 (Mahomes) and their #6 (Allen) in "turnover-worthy plays" for 3rd in the league, it's possible that it just MAY say something about their system of scoring such plays....just sayin' Oh, that's precious! I hate to give them the clicks though.
  14. Also remember that in a civil case, the burden of proof is "more likely than not", not "beyond a reasonable doubt". BIG difference.
  15. So at least some of our vets are in town pending the OTAs that start in a week on May 24. Ed Oliver showed a picture on a plane at Buffalo-Niagara Falls International Airport to the tune "Boys are Back in Town" Britt Williams posted a picture of a walk that she's posted before when in Buffalo, I think it's near their house. Pretty sure Zach Moss has posted of himself in AdPro Center working out on a Peloton bike, Harrison Phillips has posted of himself and his girlfriend at an Italian restaurant in Buffalo, and AJ Epenesa at Rick's on Main in E. Aurora. That's all the stalking I got for you at present
  16. 1) Isaiah McKenzie. Shown he can play on offense for the Bills. Shown last season he can field a punt and take it to the house. Was bit scary in how he tracks the ball/reacts IMO. Career 39 punt returns and 20 KR; lost the punt returner job to Micah Hyde in 2018. 2) 6th round rookie Marquez Stevenson. Fast. But can he track and field the ball cleanly? And hang onto it when he takes an NFL hit? TBD (to be determined) 3) Brandon Powell. 17 punt returns (8.9 y/r) for and 17 KR (20.1 y/r) for ATL last year. He's shown he can do it, but was average to below average at both last year (of course, blocking plays a role. Film of him in Florida running routes for Webb and Trubisky, he looked hella fast but seemed to be body-catching 4) and now, This Guy.
  17. “Known your friend long?” whispered Scipio to me. “Fairly,” I answered. Scipio's bleached eyes brightened with admiration as he considered the Southerner's back. “Well,” he stated judicially, “start awful early when yu' go to fool with him, or he'll make you feel unpunctual.” -Owen Wister, The Virginian
  18. How about we wait until, you know, he actually IS traded or released?
  19. But you aren't building the roster for the Bills. Like it or don't, Beane and McDermott have demonstrated time and time again that in addition to kicker, punter, and long snapper they will sign and keep a handful of players on the roster for their special teams ability - 3 or 4. Last year it was Roberts, Jones, Matakevich, Andre' Smith, and arguably Johnson. Matakevich and Smith played pretty well when they got their chance at LB. If you think Taiwan is replaceable, 1) what is his role? and 2) with whom would you replace him? It's possible that Wade could rip off large chunks of yardage. It's also possible that he could whiff on a block that gets Allen sacked or even injured, and that by not being able to find his hole or follow his blocks he'd do no better than Jones as an RB.
  20. The Bills also need a balance in the players they sign on their roster. So I would think at a certain point they would say "fish or cut bait" as it were. But I don't know.
