  3. No word yet on Saffold or Daquon Jones, so we don't know how much we need. Settle has a $2.6M cap hit. With all that, Bills have about $8.5M and word was they were going to get another $4M by restructuring Milano. Can get $6.1 by giving Beasley the snip. Someone pointed out that depending upon how it's structured, Von Miller's cap hit this year could be as low as $7M or $8M Bean will make it happen, but he's a "just in time" kind of guy who doesn't like to clear any more than he needs.
  4. Don't feed the troll, mate. Although as can be seen, I did succumb to the temptation to toss him a bisquit
  5. Somewhere in Boca Raton, Terry Pegula is slapping his pockets and saying "now where TF did I put that thing?" Plus 2 TFL plus 3 QB hits plus 1 PD
  6. Roger Daltry can just speak for me here PS...there's this thing called...THE DRAFT. Teams find talent there, like, you know, CB and WR and OL and stuff
  7. Welp, Then. Guess that answers your question - doesn't matter if his seat got warmer or not, 'cuz his butt's never planted in it 😎
  8. I thought they had like warmers for all the seats on the sideline at the games?

  10. What, you don’t favor the TB12 method and the Avocado ice cream?
  11. I don't know what you mean by "viable cap hit 1TDTs", but McDermott loves him his DL rotation so he wants 2 1TDTs on the roster. If they can draft someone they like, they may well cut Star, but he doesn't appear to have a New League Year roster bonus this season just a per-game active roster bonus. So there's not much motivation to send the Turk immediately.
  12. They had 5 last year - Oliver, Butler, Lotulelei, Harrison Phillips, and Justin Zimmer, with both Obada and Basham able to swing inside. 6 DE - Hughes, Addison, Rousseau, Epenesa, Basham, Obada They had 5 DT in 2020 as well, and that was not accounting for Lotulelei sitting out - Oliver, Butler, Jefferson, Phillips, Zimmer DE in 2021 included Hughes, Addison, Epenesa, Johnson, and Murphy
  13. I mean, are they really such a *****-show? They barely lost to the Chiefs in the Divisional round last season - and in truth, I thought they got robbed on what should have been a penalty. This year, they barely lost to the Chiefs and to the Raiders - they were like 6 points away from being a 10-7 team. Unless are you referring to the optics? Baker went hard for them all season on a shoulder that needed surgery, and then this? So they go from a QB who allegedly had a sleezy but consensual sexual encounter next to the dumpster behind a Cheesecake Factory, to a QB who is alleged to have behaved indecently or committed sexual assault with 22 women? Moving towards the Big Time there Cleveland! Oooh. That's Cold.
  14. Oliver can play 1T DT but it's a waste of his talents Phillips looks like he should be able to play 1T DT but he's terrible at it. I think it must be a mindset, and Phillips has his mind set not to do it.
  15. Heh. I don't think Phillips believes he's a $1M-2M/year player right now. What do you know about how Settle plays? My impression is that he could play 1T, but it really wasn't his gig, better as a 3T who can play at 1T on passing downs.
  16. Let's be real here. Yeah, $19.5M sounds like a lot of money, but that's $6.5M/year (and with terms not know, could effectively be less) The Bills are reported to have signed Phillips replacement, Daquon Jones, for 2 years, $14M with $10.6 guaranteed. That's $7M a year. The Bills could absolutely have matched that offer, cap-wise. They chose not to. As Phillips said, "there were multiple teams that placed a higher value on who I am as a football player than Buffalo and that going back was not logical". In the last 3 years, Phillips has played in 29 out of 49 games, or 59%. In 7 of them he was a so-called "healthy scratch", and whether it was for performance reasons or (as Beane later implied) because he needed more time to recover from his knee injuries, is unclear. In the last 3 years, Daquon Jones has played in 49 out of 49 games. I don't think it's so personal as "who (Harry) is as a football player". I think it's that "best ability is availability" thing. He had an ACL tear in college Sophomore year. He had an ACL tear his 2nd year in the league. And this season he had a PCL injury. Maybe these are freak injuries and now that they're rehabbed, they won't recur and he'll have a long healthy career in the league. Or maybe there's a systematic injury risk. based on either Phillips particular body geometry or some aspect of how he plays. I wish him the best!
  17. What I notice from that picture: 1) wtf is it with OLmen and DLmen having teensy little dogs? 2) a typical labrador female is a solid, 60 lb dog. Josh Allen is holding a squirming 60 lb dog that is trying to play with its neighbor, like she's a 5 lb bag of flour 3) Jerry Hughes wins "best trained pupper"
  18. I know Settle is said to be able to play at 1T, but I don't think that's enough of his main gig to count on him to rotate there regularly.
