  1. Who wears #58 on the Bills? Who wears #40 on the Bills? 🦗 Investigation over, complete
  2. This topic is under discussion in several other threads. Thanks.

  4. AFAIK, the NFL is pretty strict on agents. To the best of my knowledge, the rules are: 1) the agent gets paid when the player does, not before 2) the NFL caps the agent's commission at 3% of the player's salary
  5. If we do move on from Lotulelei he absolutely must be replaced somehow. You can't have 3 - 3T and 1 - 1T
  6. It's not just the numbers, but the roles each can fulfill. I think Settle is more a 3T guy though he can play 1T. I think it would be a mistake to slot him in for major reps there. You're correct about the numbers we carried last year. I've posted elsewhere why I think that was a problem so I'll give it a rest here.
  7. I'm kind of "ugh" at both ideas (Phillips re-signing AND Hughes or Addison. I felt last year we had too many bodies at DE and DT and it led to overthinking "gee who are the best matchups this week?" instead of just putting the best players out there. I also feel with the older players, we need to bring in young guys. Jordan Phillips looks like he ought to be a 1TDT, but the experiment was tried when he was here before. Thinking Phillips could play some 1T would be a Bad Plan. Settle is said to be able to play 1TDT.
  8. It was a huge issue for him with the Eagles his final years there. I thought for sure Reich would persuade him to change his ways, but no, eh?
  9. I'm not sure Ryan Talbot is that reliable as a source. Who are his sources? The Bills DL is looking kind of crowded - DE - Miller, Rousseau, Epenesa, Basham DT - Lotulelei, Jones, Oliver, Settle We have some developmental guys and we should consider picking up another 1TDT if we want to move on from Lotulelei - but Jordan Phillips is NOT a 1TDT
  10. Thanks 1) how's his blocking? 2) some people saying he didn't come back well from his Achilles?
  11. someone posted that here citing Schefter as a source, but a couple of us combed Schefter's timeline and couldn't find it, so he deleted
  12. It's kind of lame, frankly, if he's got a story why not just break it?
  13. Well, IDK how players and agents really look at it. How I would look at it, assuming that Beasley still wants to play for a few years (he says he's an 'adrenaline junkie') is that Beasley had $6.1 cash coming from the Bills this year, but this is the last year of his contract. What duration of contract will the other team offer? If they offer him a 3 year deal for $9M, let's say this year $1M guaranteed salary and a $5M signing bonus amortized over 3 years, Beasley gets $6M cash this year with the possibility of more $ to come, especially if he can lobby for some guaranteed $$ next year. So that's a break-even for Beas cash-wise or, if he can negotiate some guaranteed $$ maybe even a raise. But meanwhile the other team is paying him $3M/yr and in fact, has a cap hit of only $2.67M this year. I think the Bills ship sailed
  14. Well, this reaction to the Chandler Jones signing by the Raiders aged well:
  15. Beasley has a $500k roster bonus due on March 20th. If the Bills want to free up the maximum cap benefit, expect him to be shipped out by then one way or another. He is not gonna agree to a "large pay cut".
  16. I'm unfamiliar. Tell me why please? His stats don't look good for a guy who was on the field 48% and 33% of the snaps last 2 years. Is he out there blocking his ass off or ??
  17. 78% of the snaps. 76% with the Ponies and 79% with the Lambs. 84% in 2019.
  18. I must recommend this video clip. Watching this video clip will NEVER get old.
