  1. Is it just me, or does Moss look completely natural catching the football while Motor looks like he’s kind of surprised when he actually pulls it off?
  2. I think a psychological phenomenon called “confirmation bias” may be at work here.
  3. FIFY. Though the cross-examination is probably less extensive and less dramatic than Bull and other TV shows make it seem. At least when I’ve been selected for a jury pool it was. But I think you guys do civil cases completely differently - no jury?
  4. Yes. And Brady threw 3 picks against GB in the NFCCG I’m like “whatever, I don’t care” I can’t quite go there. Our D had a couple epic stands. But of course, if they didn’t get frogmarched backwards down the field they wouldn’t need to be so epic. But yes, even if I don’t agree that he singlehandedly won that game, Allen is the primary reason we won and went on.
  5. Darnold was cagey about this issue and wouldn’t discuss it in his presser: https://www.counton2.com/news/south-carolina-news/panthers-sam-darnold-sheds-mask-wont-discuss-vaccination/ They. Aren’t. Even. Wearing. Pads. Yet.
  6. They must not ask that question on the cop shows. That’s his point - it’s not important whether the juror have heard of the case or not, the question is, can they be fair and impartial? Whether or not you think it’s stupid is irrelevant.
  7. Locked by the request of the OP @CorkScrewHill. He realized the same info is in the pressers thread and PM’d to request this
  8. Just gonna add this here: https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2021/07/bills-training-camp-2021-cole-beasley-takes-center-stage-8-observations-from-day-1.html Apparently we have our own One Bills Drive Rashoman, where a dozen reporters listened to Brandon Beane and came away thinking he said different things about the same two guys Boettger and Dawkins may be the latest implementation of Schroedinger’s Cat
  9. Quietly, the NFL seems to have acknowledged that previously-infected players have immunity by announcing this: That may apply to a number of the “one dose” guys.
  10. Agree, but there is some film out there of Kumerow laying the lumber blocking. He can block (for a tall skinny guy)
  11. One reason that players sometimes have success in the red zone is that the other team is focused on shutting down the “stars” and lose track of the guys further down the depth chart. I would say that our TE room had several TDs that would fit that category last season
  12. Sal commented on these too, said hadn’t seen before and assumes it’s extra protection
  13. Sal Capaccio’s write-up https://www.audacy.com/wgr550/sports/bills/bills-get-right-to-work-on-day-1-of-training-camp-in-red-zone
  14. This account appears to be legit. I believe KB was released, but I doubt it was for taking food home. According to a couple pieces I read, the facility will actually provide to-go meals and protein shakes and stuff to the players, to help them maintain a diet.
  15. I’m pretty sure that’s some kind of parody account. Look at others of his tweets.
  16. I dunno but I was glad to see Beasley wearing a mask, after his very public statements that he was not going to be following the protocols.
  17. OK guys, Training camp has begun. Maybe save this stuff for the next off-season ‘Football Drought”?
  18. So the jersey number and roster designation does not influence this?
  19. I’m reminded of a story about company expense reports. A colleague was on a business trip. His flight deplaned by stairs. As they walked across the windy tarmac, his new Cowboy hat blew off and ramp staff kept him from chasing it (someone on the ramp crew got a nice hat). So when he filed his expense report, a new Cowboy hat was on there to replace the one he’d lost on his trip. His supervisor rejected it: “A new hat is not a travel expense”. Resubmitted it, hat on there again. Rejected again, Repeat 2x. Finally he submitted a report his supervisor approved: “I’m glad to see you took the hat off” Colleague smiled and said “Oh, it’s on there, you just can’t see it now.” Point is, it’s one thing to quietly and more-or-less privately break a rule, and another to be public and in the NFL’s face about it. If the NFL is reviewing TBD facility footage for any reason, you can bet Beasley has made himself a focus of attention.
  20. Thought I heard Beane say it was something from off-season training, nothing serious
  21. The article you’re quoting said that, based upon Beane’s presser I assume, but while Chris Brown quoted Beane as saying that, I heard him walk that back later in the presser and just say that they have had ~5 Covid infections over the summer and some were vaccinated. So I don’t think we really know at this point. Hopefully they were because of the potentially earlier return you note and lower chance of a severe infection with complications. I would be very surprised if that NFL policy stood without substantial modification. JC Tretter made it clear that the NFLPA was NOT consulted and did NOT buy in to that policy. I linked it elsewhere but you can read what he had to say here: (It let me read with just giving my email addy but now it wants a login) Here’s my talking points from earlier: Previous post
  22. Reggie Gilliam now listed as FB with new number. Curious whether his number/designation makes any practical difference to what he can or can’t do on the football field - does having a TE number in any way restrict where he can line up, pre snap motion, or anything else? I didn’t think so, but I will freely admit there are details to the rules about pre-snap positioning and motion that I don’t know as well as I should.
  23. N mind, I’ll drop this here. I don’t want to stealth this into Yet Another Thread about the Beasen One
