I don't think anyone here disagrees with the above. But even so, there are 45 other guys on the Gameday roster who have to do their job, and do it reasonably well, or the wins won't happen. That's the point Logic was making, in response to a chappie who thinks Lamar Jackson should get a bigger contract than Allen because "he has more wins".

Funny, you brought up the "wins are a QB stat" in response to a reply to this: I guess wins must not be a QB stat for Lamar then, either, since we're only talking about one "great season" and he's been supported by the #2 or #3 defense on points? That's how this works, right?

There are guys like Hendrickson, Smith, and Pierre-Paul who are heavier. There are guys like Watt, Floyd, Burns, and Sweat who are lighter. It probably depends upon specifics of their individual frame and the weight at which they get the most power. At 6'5" and 260, Epenesa seems as though he'd slot right in It sounds as though your son's coaches want him to play heavier, and evidently so did Epenesa's college coaches, but the Bills differ.

I think they may be rotating more guys through 1st team reps than we know, but if they don't get targets, we don't hear about it. Personally, I'd like to see Knox fall to 3rd string for a bit and have to work his way back up. Maybe it would light a fire in him.
