  1. I am not familiar with the details of any reported injuries that didn't cause him to miss time. He played 17 regular season games on 2 teams in 2019. He played 14 of 16 games in 2020, but the 2 games he missed were due to the covid-19 list, not to injury So in the previous 2 years, that would be 0 games missed due to injury.
  2. Thanks. I couldn't get it to play on Facebook, but I found it on Twitter: https://www.pscp.tv/w/1MnxnlMzgkEGO?t=6s in case the Facebook thing didn't work for someone else. So it sounds as though it might be the same "foot" injury, in which case the question is will they be able to get it healed up completely before the season, or is it actually something that needs surgery in which case it would be better to shut him down right now and take care of it and hope to get him back as the season heats up. The good (???) news for the Bills is that his salary is completely guaranteed as of right now, so he has no motivation to kind of hide things and hope to be on the opening-day roster and get his guarantees.
  3. Word had it the Green Bay offensive line play(ed) Catan and was super-serious about it, like "don't interrupt our game with your loud music" serious. https://www.nfl.com/news/packers-obsessed-with-settlers-of-catan-board-game-0ap3000000459779
  4. I thought he pretty much totally sucked when he played for Edmunds last Fall. But playing next to AJ Klein at OLB may not have helped his cause, especially since at that point they hadn't figured out how to compensate for the fact that Klein simply can't do what Milano does. Lamp is listed as 3rd string behind Ford and Boettger. I think you have it backwards. Butler, if anything, is more of a true 3TDT who got pressed into service playing 1TDT and first sucked, then became kind of servicable in small doses. Lotulelei and Phillips are the only true 1TDTs on the roster as far as I know, so putting Phillips behind Butler seems rather making a statement.
  5. More likely than cut him would be he develops some nagging injury and winds up on IR to start the season.
  6. Yeah, Thanks, great catch, I'll fix it. I think it's a definite "shot across the bows" for Phillips. I think it's going to be 4 guys kept, and Phillips is being told "right now, you're behind a guy who is on the sidelines with concussion". I don't think it's definite at this point - I don't believe the Bills will make a move until they're coming out of camp because if someone gets injured then everything changes. But yeah, it's a warning.
  7. I think what the reporters see is catches and drops (if any). I think what McDermott and the coaches see is more every play - was he expected to block? did he pick up the right guy? was he supposed to run a route? he may not have been targeted, but did he get a clean release, run a crisp route, and gain separation? The coaches are looking at every play, and the reporters are only looking at the highlights. The other thing is Hollister has missed a bunch of time with the back injury, so he has ground to make up.
  8. We enjoy it. It belongs to the class my friend Ted refers to as "weasel games". Initially you cooperate with other players by trading resources..."have sheep, want wood...anyone trade wood for my sheep?" You trade with them so that they'll trade with you. But eventually you realize Nope! they're pulling ahead! So you not only stop trading, you use all the tools the game provides to cut them down. There's a free online version called "Colonists" but I'm not sure how much sense it would make if you hadn't played the board game https://colonist.io/
  9. But these guys are all ultra-competitive and I think Pandemic is cooparative....
  10. OH, now. This is going to cause some controversies here on TBD: Offense. No shocks in the starters. Click to Embiggen: Kumerow ahead of Hodgins (#2 behind Diggs, vs #3 behind Manny Sands) and Duke Williams, and the latter ahead of Marquez Stevenson. Jamil Douglas way up there on the list - right behind Jon Feliciano - and Forrest Lamp ahead of Jack Anderson. If we keep Lamp or Douglas and Anderson turns out to be good, I can hear the explosions now. Defense. Only list 2 LB as starters, which is admitting to what they actually do as their base D (finally) Dodson ahead of Matakevich, which I did NOT see from last season but maybe he was injured and got healed. Obada ahead of Bam Johnson Butler ahead of Harrison Phillips (even though Butler has been out with a concussion) Rousseau ahead of Basham. Damar Hamlin ahead of Josh Thomas. Of course, very fluid at this stage but still interesting as representing our first (possible) glimpse of how the coaches see things currently. Thanks. That's my major concern with Sanders is durability.
  11. This is a problem Linky please? Can't find it in his Twitter feed.
  12. I would love for us to be able to pick up a better 1TDT off waivers or in trade, but I don't see it happening. My $0.02 Butler probably gets cut; being out with a concussion isn't helping his chances. Then again, Harry may get cut again. To your point 5, please bear in mind that while he's a core ST'er, Matekevich has shown himself capable as a backup LB when he got the call. I thought he had played himself ahead of Dodson on the roster by the end of last season - looked that way in the Dolphins game. And if you don't believe that (and don't believe the Bills believe that) then we are CERTAINLY not going with 5 LB. Only way is if we think the ST guys (Dirty Red and Andre Smith) can both back up capably AND play ST, and even then...LB seem to get dinged a lot. I was thinking about it and I think Smith saw action primarily as an extra OLman. I think just keeping an extra OLman instead is a possibility.
  13. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2021/08/bills-cole-beasley-making-taron-johnson-better-in-training-camp-its-a-cheat-code-day-12-observations.html Matt Parrino NYUP article. Steel sharpens Steel and Beasley is making Taron Johnson better: Trubisky has his "platitudes" in order: We're likely to see a good bit of hm on Friday since Josh won't play. What did he show in shorts? Running backs: Zach Moss needs to channel Jon Feliciano, who said last summer "every day I look at my pec in the mirror and say "hurry up, or get left behind" " It's hopeful that McDermott called it "one day at a time" but those things can linger, so Heal Good before you come back, Zach. Hollister showing some stuff: I think Stefon is being held out a lot because he wasn't held out against a really aggressive play by Micah Hyde that injured his knee.
  14. ?? It has expansion packs. 6-8 players I believe
  15. Having "bet the Franchise" on Wentz enough to trade for him even with his injury history, I don't think the recent injury changes the Indy FO assessment.
  16. The latter may or may not be true - personally, I think legitimate journalists who verify sources take a lot of undeserved Crap nowadays. And I think journalists don't "make up quotes" though they are sometimes lazy and rely on another journalist's speculative "Tweet" as their source. But yes, upon further review Wesley Steinberg is 100% a parody account.
  17. @YoloinOhio pointed out that I fell for a well-done parody account. I'll try to check myself next time.
  18. I could be wrong but I honestly don't think so. I think Beane is taking to heart the idea that the Backup QB is the 2nd most important guy on the team.
  19. I think he meant "plays" because by the time Feliciano switched to RG, Ford had like a few plays then went out injured.
  20. I'll put this here, since you mention Wilson [EDIT: @YoloinOhio pointed out that I fell for a parody account. Mea Culpa]
