  1. Harris can't open holes for himself then run through them. The unanswered question is whether Pittsburgh's young and revamped OL is "up to" the task
  2. I mean, it's not that controversial, really. I'm sure all of the Bills coaches are beating the "Best Ability is Availability" drum with Josh and that some of the older, wiser players have taken up the Lee Smith mantle of telling Josh to "Get down! Get down!", for just that reason. It's kind of a stupid thing for a defensive coach to say to the media, though. And of course, if the defensive players are too fired up by their coaches words and get penalized for a late hit on a QB who has "given himself up", it will work against him.
  3. Hmmm....spinning the ball at an opponent's feet draws the personal foul.....I Got It, I'll just spin myself!
  4. Interesting question.....*rummage rummage* Magic 8 Ball says, "There is No Proof, But The Evidence is Suggestive" OK Bet
  5. All I can say to this is "LOL". Josh Allen "fold like a lawn chair under a lil bit of pressure" Allen IS the guy who made waves his rookie season by hurdling Anthony Barr, was described by Broncos Von Miller as "having a stiff-arm like Deion Sanders", then last season flattened Kyle Van Noy and Emmanuel Ogbah on a single playweek 2, and then followed it up week 3 by grabbing one Rams LB by the helmet, throwing him into the path of a second defender, then deflecting the best DT in football Aaron Donald in order to give himself time to throw the ball away and avoid a huge sack (oh yeah - we won). Don't get me wrong, Josh shouldn't do those things, he should protect himself better, but it's laughably inept for an opposing team's fan to suggest he will "fold like a lawn chair" under pressure. It's just funny. Yinzers. When did most of our "leading rusher"s 43 yds come? Oh that's right - on a ball-busting 7 minute 11 second run-out-the-clock drive in the 4th Q that ended as time expired on the Pitt 18 yd line and crushed any hope of a Pitt offensive comeback. You should really be proud you held our rushing game to 104 yds - that's something only 12 regular season and playoff opponents managed! Oh wait - we won 9 of those games and were leading up through the final seconds of a 10th. Now let's do you. Where's Tuitt, your starting DE gonna be on Sunday? Oh that's right, on IR. I'm sure your defense will benefit from having Bud Dupree expected to start Week 1, as he is - oh, Whups, that's for Tennessee. Good to know your 32 yr old best DB will be playing across from your other starting CB, Steve Nelson and your excellent nickel corner, Mike Hilton - Oh wait, Nelson and Hilton are starting for other teams, too. What's the plan? Let's listen to your DC: Well, All Righty Then, I'm sure Daboll is officially sweating that problem rather than drawing up plays he thinks will work and saying "prove you can shut us down, Mister" On offense, I know you must be filled with confidence in your OL. I've always admired Villanueva's play at LT, Maurkice Pouncey has been one of the best centers in the league for a long time, and DeCastro of course is a legend at RG, so even if Chukwuma Okorafor at RT hasn't yet developed into everything you'd hoped out of a 3rd round pick going into his 4th season, it should be solid, and unflappable in a noisy environment on the road. Oh Wait.....
  6. Tomlin is a good coach, and Big Ben looked pretty good in his preseason cameo. They have to solve the QB "Aging out" issue at some point, but I'll wait and see before I pronounce the Steelers "middle class" status. They won their division last year same as we did They got embarrassed in their final game, same as we did - it just happened earlier on
  7. Your statement was "They are clearly going to have one of the best offenses in the league unfortunately. Maybe not quite "unstoppable" but pretty close. " That's a bit different from saying they're talented, and will win a bunch of games because they play in a weak division. If that's your point, I agree with you on that. But there's a lot of space between "talented and will win a bunch of games" and "one of the best offenses in the league, close to unstoppable"
  8. Addison didn't show up on the injury report, which I think they must if they miss Friday practice or are limited. But I don't know what part of practice the media gets to watch Fri and whether missing that part counts as limited. Kahale Warring is concerning, not as far as this game (obviously) but to any hope he might be a decent developmental TE. You can't develop your innate athleticism if you don't play. I'm sure he's a fine young man and will have a great NFL career if he stay healthy, but Man, what is it with these rookies opening their yaps before they've actually had the experience? This IS the home crowd where 6,700 fans caused false starts in a playoff game, they were so loud. Walk the walk before you talk the talk.
  9. That is your hope as a fan Hope goes two ways. Our hope as fans is - YOU'RE playing a better team than the team which led last year's game all the way from kickoff to final moments. Better DL, better run game, QB with more patience to take what the D gives him. Time will Tell. It must be comforting to look at a game where you were trailing 23-7 going into the 4th Q then and lost by 2 scores and say "hey, but they barely beat us!" A bit delusional perhaps, but comforting.
  10. Coming into the season, I too felt that Zimmer was strictly a 1T guy Per the depth chart on Buffalobills.com, 1TDT is where they have him listed, as his primary position. It's not because there's someone else listed as #3 behind Oliver and Butler So I think this reflects how the Bills are looking at him right now.
  11. He looked good in that game but he only played a few snaps - <20% I believe.
  12. So what are you saying? When we had the draft resources together to get up into the top half of the first round in 2018, do you we should have taken Vita Vea instead of Josh Allen, kind of like Cleveland drafting Myles Garrett in 2017 when Patrick Mahomes and Desean Watson (heck even Mitch Trubisky) were available?
  13. He's been on the injury report all week DNP with a calf. Try to keep up
  14. That's be great, but I think it's just as likely that Butler and Tomlin have something cooked up for us that it takes us some time to work out I'm actually more concerned about the lack of Sanders and what's going on with a foot injury that has apparently hampered him all through preseason.
  15. According to the depth chart, they've decided that Zimmer can play 1TDT. I don't think Oliver is going to be asked to play 1TDT this season. The guy who is going to be put out of position again (if any) is Butler
  16. The Cowboys showed why passing yards aren't highly correlated with winning In 2019 (last season Dak played) the Cowboys (8-8) had the #2 passing offense in the league, after Tampa Bay (7-9) with Jameis Winston, but #6 on points. They did just what they did last night - moved the ball down the field readily but couldn't always "seal the deal" for points.
  17. Dak played a good game and I don't want to take anything away from that, but "unstoppable"? Punt-TD-Punt-Missed FG-TD on a Fumble just outside the redzone - Field Goal off an INT - Missed FG - FG - Interception - TD - FG -Punt Is that what you call "unstoppable"? Looks to me like they settled for FG attempts 5x Also got 9 points instead of 14 off 2 turnovers Again, saw some good stuff from Dak this game, but the Dallas offense reminds me of the Bills offense in 2019 where we did good things Just not enough of them, and settled for 3 points instead of 7 too often.
  18. Just me or is the Collinsworth “Brady ball washing” session in full throat? Also excusemaking for TB
  19. You're Ok I understand it's the title of their clip I should have said, McCaffee and crew misleading title since they spent most of the clip inciting Bills fans to do it.
  20. Misleading title, should be titled "Pat McCaffee and Crew Incite Bills Mafia to throw dildos on the field" I hope and pray Bills fans don't fall for this provocation It's funny as hell to joke about but I believe the guy who did it when we played NE got banned from the stadium? [Edit: from all NFL stadia, for life] https://brobible.com/sports/article/original-bills-mafia-*****-throwers-regrets/
