  1. I may have mistaken you for someone else and if so, I do apologize.
  2. This. Wait, I agree with Scott7975, WTH just happened?
  3. I generally agree with this but still - for not having started a game or thrown a TD pass since 2017 I thought he did OK If Seattle could only locate their missing defense they could have won that Some days you da windshield, Some days you da bug
  4. It might help them at least split the games Wilson is out if someone could mount a successful search operation for their missing defense.
  5. https://sports.yahoo.com/washington-football-team-facility-reportedly-raided-by-feds-head-trainer-ryan-vermillion-placed-on-leave-181651445.html Federal law enforcement reportedly raided the Washington Football Team's INOVA Sports Performance Center last week (Friday week), according to NBC Sports Washington's J.P. Finlay, Grant Paulsen and Julie Carey. It appears to be related to an ongoing criminal investigation involving head athletic trainer and director of sports medicine Ryan Vermillion, who has been placed on administrative leave by the team. https://sports.yahoo.com/mystery-surrounding-raid-on-washington-team-facility-deepens-as-union-says-an-active-nfl-player-has-spoken-to-the-dea-212530489.html As the NFL awaits developments tied to Friday’s federal raid on the Washington Football Team’s practice facility and townhome of head trainer Ryan Vermillion, the players union reached out to a swath of player agents Thursday seeking information on an apparent DEA investigation. The NFLPA sent a letter to player agents on Thursday morning, alerting them to an investigation the union has opened into the raid — in response to what the union believes is a potential issue of player health and safety. In the letter, which was reviewed by Yahoo Sports, the union said at least one active player has been contacted by federal agents in response to a DEA investigation. However, a source familiar with the letter and also the union’s efforts to gather information said federal investigators have sought out more than one active player, although the source declined to give any further specifics. ...... Interestingly, a league source familiar with Friday’s developments said neither the Washington Football Team nor NFL league office was aware of a federal investigation involving Vermillion — despite an active player having been in contact with investigators. The source said the league’s knowledge has been limited to whatever the Washington franchise learned on Friday, before the franchise placed Vermillion on administrative leave. NBC Sports Washington cited sources on Wednesday in a report that the probe into Vermillion was related to “possible diversion of prescription drugs”, but a league source declined to confirm that or whether federal agents were seeking prescription drug information during their search of the WFT facility. “What we know about [the search] is very limited and what the [DEA] is sharing is very little,” the league source said. “Anyone in contact is being advised by investigators and also their own related legal counsel not to speak about any of it. It doesn’t get any more clear.” (search function is broken, scanned first 2 pages, LMK if this was posted elsewhere and I'll merge)
  6. 😅 Tell that to the meteorologists who predict "great plains weather" for a living But seriously, the heavy rain and temperature drop later/at the end are what's being predicted locally in KC, but the start and stop times this far out are still hard to predict, as is the exact path
  7. PS Yo, Chand, you forgot the "Weather for Sunday" thread and surely "Have you ever been tossed from a Bills Game?" deserves honorable mention....
  8. They're all talking football. Would you rather they were talking something else?
  9. Josh Allen was hurt at the start of the season? If you're talking about the Game 4 injury he sustained, he was on the injury report for the next 3-4 weeks as "Shoulder"
  10. You could usually say the same about most games with a decent team. For example I could say we were played poorly on offense, but were a blocked punt away from a tied game and a dumb 4th down play call away from a win and "should have won" against the Steelers. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. But we didn't.
  11. Bit different situation. Last season Milano had already been out a game for Miami and if I recall, was practicing the week before the Rams game. So it looked as though he could go, and people were saying "even if he's practicing and can go, Sit him to give him more time." This year he just had the injury, he's been DNP, and some people are saying "play him, who cares if he injures himself worse". That's a bad take IMO But for the difference in fan attitudes, I think it's that fans feel like KC's been the Bisons "daddy" the last couple years and really really really wanna beat KC, where we had no such personal animosity about the Rams.
  12. I doubt they have Klein covering Kelce. At least, I hope they've learned their lesson that they have to rework the D slightly when Klein is playing and not just try to plug Klein in for Milano in "next man up" fashion. They seemed to as last season went on.
  13. I hope that's sarcasm Why would you expect that, Johnson is the nickel corner and almost always on the field as the nickel corner. If Milano can't go say hello to Klein
  14. Meh. wunderground is saying 45% chance of rain at kickoff, increasing through the evening. But the truth is, this is the midwest - the weather gets generated out here, you can't really see it coming 3 days in advance. Well sometimes you can, but whether it's coming for you or will skip to the south or skate off to the nouth is very hard to predict. And exactly when it gets here is also hard to figure. Hopefully they're working with Wet Ball drills at practice, but we're really not going to know what the weather will be at that time and place with reasonable probability until Sunday am. I think your % probability of precip and your low, are both the low for the entire day arriving in the wee hours of Monday. Should be more like 72 around game time with a low in the high 60s by the end of the game. https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/mo/kansas-city for those who want to torture themselves.
  15. It's a bit of a competitive advantage IMO that the Bills do...they can hold stadium practices when they wish without having to give up travel time.
  16. Brown going from limited to full and Rousseau going from DNP to full is good news. Positive that both Dane Jackson and Taron Johnson are listed as "full" I don't like Poyer and Tre White still being "limited" Epenesa looks like an addition to the injury report as "limited"
  17. I thought when Josh had some kind of injury and was visibly wearing a linebacker brace he just sucked or was regressing.
  18. I love the way our D is playing. I respectfully disagree on the “JA lost the Pitts game” take. Was he good, no, but the total absence of a run threat or extra blockers and some very strange play calling played their part. In addition, the difference in the game was a blocked punt. JA was not on the punt unit whiffing blocks or kicking too close to the LOS
  19. I don’t mind the takes, but this early in the season one blowout game really swings the perception. Chargers D supposed to be very good, beat the Chiefs, WFT lost by 4 points due to a TD in the 4th. Herbert headed to the HOF per Shefty, needed a TD in the 4th to squeak by a defense we pulverized. Browns looking good, gave up 33 points to the Chiefs, 21 points to a Texans D we just skunked, held the Vikes and Bears to 6 or 7…. Do we really think those are juggernaut offenses? Dont get me wrong, I love me some Garrett, but I’m not seeing this huge opponent quality disparity where Bills have shown nuttin and Browns have beaten the best.
  20. Ouch. Yeah, a point - looks like only one, but...
  21. They said something about "if you like it and want to see more like and hit "subscribe" so.... Parts of it were pretty funny.
  22. Haha great story but there was something about test scores and academic eligibility mixed in there somewhere In another interview, McKenzie said he didn't have family going on school visits and helping him with the process. He said he went to Georgia because his high school classmate Sony Michel had family and supporters researching everything, so he figured he'd use their research and join Michel there when he had the chance. McKenzie doesn't mention family, but he said in one tweet his mom left him in the hospital. Apparently he was raised by a grandmother or an aunt. Sounds like a story. I personally think the Bills are getting a bit out of hand with all these podcasts and shows - Isaiah McKenzie, Moss, Diggs and Gabe, etc etc.
